BREAKING SCANDAL: Rubio seems to have been naughty

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by TexasTowelie (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum).

BOMBSHELL Report Against Marco Rubio – This Changes EVERYTHING!

Details of the forthcoming scandal are not yet clear, although the allegation involving Rubio and the female lobbyist is reportedly being leaked to “multiple mainstream media outlets” this week.

FITS showed the webpage we were provided to a presidential operative in early-voting South Carolina. This operative – who has worked on more than one presidential campaign during the current election cycle – confirmed that the woman on the webpage was “a focus” of opposition research against Rubio, however they declined to elaborate on what was uncovered.

All the operative would say was that the woman was identified by researchers during a deep dive into Rubio’s disastrous personal finances.

I don't think I hope this story is correct, though, because, one, an overcrowded GOP field is working great for us, and two, Rubio's not the only likely sociopath in that lineup. There are others to knock out, see #1. The sooner the field narrows down and Big Money decides who to back, the sooner they start launching the big missiles.

shifty henry • a day ago

Senator James, a famous politician, died. His wife offered the minister a $10,000 donation to the church if, at her husband's funeral, he'd say that the man was a saint.

"Your husband lied, cheated, and stole," answered the minister. "I could never say he was a saint."

"Then I'll ruin YOUR reputation," she threatened.

Fearing for his job the minister began the service with these words, " Senator James was a liar, a cheat, and a thief ..... but compared to his wife he was a saint."

If it's furious but not fast, it probably means that damage control is underway.

If it's fast but not furious, they're probably hoping for damage control, but don't know if it has a chance.

If it's both fast AND furious, it's either a total fake, or they have it completely under control, and la señorita is safely and anonymously ensconced in a jungle villa in Costa Rica or Belize until after the election.

If it's neither fast NOR furious, then it's either Door Number One (he's toast, and trying to figure out how to salvage SOMETHING), or Door Number Two (it's a fake, they know who's responsible, and are preparing to destroy the one/s responsible).

At least he's stuffing a lobbyist and not an unpaid intern. If he were doing that, it would be what you call really getting fucked.

As chair of the RNC, I'm sure Christie has access to inside dirt that candidates had to claim as possible ammo the Dems could use against them in a General Election. I wouldn't put it past that guy.

Since when do we take that kind of info source as meaningful? Sounds more like troll bait to me (not you Joe). I mean the kind of source that spins rumors and innuendo into the echo chamber.

It sounds to me like we are reacting as planned by whoever planted the story there.

I don't have any love for Rubio, and I wish him all the failure he truly deserves. I think the suggestions that this is a hit piece put out by Rove or one of his acolytes could be spot on.

But I also think we should not jump into the swift-boats, eh?
