US drone 'kills 8' in Pakistan

A US drone strike in an area known to be a stronghold of al-Qaeda and the Taliban has killed at least eight people, reports say.

The strike targeted suspected Islamic militants in a compound in the North Waziristan tribal area, they said.

It is the second such strike in the area in 24 hours. At least four suspected militants were killed on Wednesday.

After all the fuss about our drones bombing Pakistan, I am surprised we're still doing it.

Innocent until blown apart by an Xbox pilot then relabelled "suspected militant".

And nobody particularly cares either - that's why you're still doing it.

suspected militants. This reminds me of when everyone in Afghanistan was referred to as a terrorist during the DDBYS, (dumbed down bush years).

As if Portugal and Fiji were possibly sending the things out too? Can never be quite sure who is raining death from above, I suppose. Did I miss something and they openly admitting these video game wars now?

It has always been pretty damn obvious who the Xbox pilots are but as nothing has been
done to bring them under control, they've given up even the pretence that they care.
