Donald Trump Campaign Plans to Win ‘100 Percent’ of Black Vote
Source: Mediate.com
In an interview with Yahoo News, one of Donald Trumps top political advisors said that their campaign expects to win 100 percent of the black vote.
Yahoos Hunter Walker spoke with Trump lawyer and advisor Michael Cohen about the campaigns recent efforts to woo the black vote: When asked how much of the African-American vote the campaign wants to win, Cohen had a perfectly Trumpian answer: All of it.

(1,301 posts)At least Trump's campaign is SAYING that.
The DNC, in contrast, writes off whole swaths of the country as hopeless. I'd really like to see the Democratic Party TRY to win every rural white voter in Idaho--or if they're not going to try, at least PRETEND to care.
Of course, this is why I love Bernie--and why I loved Howard Dean before him.

(1,214 posts)My wife is Hispanic. She's here legally, in fact she was born in California (part of the USA for a long time).
The past two generations of her Mom's family are all natural-born US citizens. The generation before that immigrated legally. Her Dad's family are the descendants of Spanish settlers who were here before the USA even existed.
And they despise Trump.
And they vote.
EDIT: The above is in response to this gem, also from the article:
I am mindful of the fact that, you know, there are coalitions and Im talking about now like Hispanic coalitions that
will not support Trump. And thats OK because the ones that dont like Trump arent even here legally and they cant vote

The problem is going to be when his bubble busts, with 1%.
Oh, wait, there's no problem. He really don't give a shit if his bubble busts, or not.
He'll just keep spewing his shock and awe campaign.

(2,300 posts)Flame away, if you want, but I think it's delusional to think otherwise. He is not some distant and alien figure to the black community like most Presidential Republicans. He's far more of a pop-culture icon than any candidate the GOP has had before.

(53,998 posts)I mean, all he does is pander to the lowest common denominator with an eye on making the biggest splash possible. He'll probably veer hard left on limiting lobbyists and corporate contributions.
I don't think he'll get the nomination, actually, but should hell freeze over, he'll certainly have more tricks up his sleeve other than the current Mussolini-lite approach that plays so well with the rubes.
