Poll: Clinton crushing Sanders nationally (Hillary +33)

Source: The Hill

Hillary Clinton holds a huge national lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), according to a new poll.

A Monmouth University survey released Wednesday found Clinton with a 33-point lead, taking 59 percent support nationally over Sanders at 26 percent. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley takes 4 percent support in the poll.

Socialist.

These numbers are not that bad given all that and how much time is left.

I love that we have two, even three GOOD candidates.

Mook also dismissed recent poll numbers that suggest Hillary Clinton’s favorability numbers are slipping. According to a CNN poll published last week, 57% of Americans think the former secretary of state is not trustworthy. “A lot of the public polling is not very reliable,” Mook said. “I don’t pay a whole lot of attention to it.

Poll Shows Hillary Clinton Leading Donald Trump, but Struggling With Marco Rubio, Ben Carson

That's OK. She will be able to handle Rubio if he is the nominee. I doubt that Carson will be.

It's no contest. Clinton will win the primary.

Bernie will enthusiastically endorse her and campaign for her. Hell, he may even be her VP.

The Dems win the general against Trump or Cruz.

I can't wait for this damn primary season to be over so the silliness stops on DU and we get back to our other contentious discussions!

I seriously doubt he will campaign for any Democratic Party candidate and I don't think he will continue to identify as a Democrat once his primary campaign is over.

Especially given what we already know about pollsters' tendency to over-poll white seniors with a landline.

Neilsen's 'People Meters' do the same thing, I understand - and Wegmans has ties to Fox. It's important to remember that polling and ratings data in general is far from squeaky clean in this country these days.

You may have noticed that I usually stay away from the Clinton/Sanders banter here at DU, and when I do participate I make no bones about my preference for Bernie Sanders. But let me assure that (God willing) I plan on voting for whomever the nominee is.

Nevertheless, thes spate of polls showing lopsided Clinton margin are suspicious, whether one's for Hillary or not. All the more so since a few have already been caught oversampling older, whiter, landline (possibly rotary phone) using voters. Something to consider.
