Very odd attack made against all law enforcement by Republican Congress nominee

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Nye Bevan (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum).

Source: live texts discussion Linkedin

Major Walter Christie, Jr. commented on the policing numbers. The commentary he offered was odd and disturbing; calling police officers glorified security guards and attacking chiefs of police whilst advocating their demotion, threatening to eliminate police services across the country, and defund the D.O.J.'s budget. The most disturbing being that he is a Republican congressional nominee, as such ideology is most commonly associated with the extreme Left fringe. He has a strategic plan and leads a group of individuals who are working to usher in a universal and militarized police force into the country. His comments are a blatant and direct attack upon all law enforcement agencies within the nation and an attempt to sabotage the safety and security of our citizens and bring in militia forces.

When confronted and pressed upon his personal details, his Facebook page suddenly disappeared. His only response being that Republicans are backing his project and his becoming an "elected" legislator is "done deal". When pressed about these particular and peculiar statements, he responded that he has been guaranteed the elected seat he is seeking. Such comments make any person question if perhaps corrupt deals have already been made.

He referred to a study that has been conducted and yet, when questioned as to who it is that has funded it, he has refused to answer and gave the answer that such information is classified. Meanwhile, whilst he is supposedly retired, he should not have any standing military security clearance or access to classified information possibly being withheld from the general public.

Major Walter Christie, Jr. then announced he is a new Fox news contributor regarding international security and U.S. policy. It is concerning within the United States such an individual would make it a political campaign platform to launch such an attack upon police forces, the call to demote decorated officers merely to advance his personal agenda whilst ushering foreign interests to police America. At the end of the day it is our own national safety our personal freedom which is under attack by the likes of him and it makes you wonder what back room deals are being made and why the Republican Party is backing this fascist ideology.

Right-wing stomachs have been growling quite loudly lately (and not on account of the pork rinds).

Enter Walter the blustering butcher. No matter how extreme he gets, Fox dare not deny the base their red meat - least of all in an election year.

I imagine Ailes keeps a deranged former colonel or two around for such purposes.

Even loons are entitled to run for office. And because of Obamacare, they are also entitled to mental health treatment.

"such ideology is most commonly associated with the extreme Left fringe"

This is not an ideology that I would associate with the far left.

". . calling police officers glorified security guards and attacking chiefs of police whilst advocating their demotion, ."

And your problem with this would be ?

Just like medical doctors are glorified plumbers.
