L’affaire of Ted Cruz (sister in law of Amanda Carpenter confirms alleged tabloid story?)

A lovers sister-in-law speaks out.
This week the National Enquirer (which first reported the affair of failed Democrat party member John Edwards) broke a story that alleges Ted Cruz had multiple affairs with various women, while his wife Heidi Cruz was battling depression. The Cruz campaign has yet to respond to the allegations, but a short phone call with the sister in-law of one of the women, after I found her online through use of the White Pages, appears to confirm the allegations.
The woman, whose brother is married to the alleged paramour who appears on CNN as contributor, said, Its true. They were together only a few times. She added her sister-in-law, was transfixed by Ted. He has a way of selling ice to an Eskimo. I asked when the affairs occurred. Right before Teds campaign for Senate, she said. Theyd get together when Cruz visited DC. She added, The whole family knows, everybody knows about this.
Cruzs lover is married and has children.
The affairs stand in stark contrast with the Christian moralizing persona Cruz has constructed on the trail. And numerous media personalities and rumors have been circulating for weeks on Twitter about Cruzs love making. But the hot Cuban blood runs deep apparently. Cruzs father, Raphael, abandoned the family for reasons that are still unknown.
In the past few months Cruz has attacked his main competitor, Donald Trump, for holding New York values. It appears, however, that Cruz is the one with values problem.

(19,803 posts)and Jim Baker, I can't bring myself to think of all the "evangelicals" caught in things like that, and all it did was boost them "because they asked God for forgiveness".
But one can only hope.

Anyone familiar with this site? Are they reliable?

(15,690 posts)and cannot imagine why ANY self-respecting woman - even Heidi, who has problems of her own, IMO - would ever want to have anything to do with him.

(1,325 posts)Nobody wants Teddy (boy King Joffrey), except that he's not Trump. Trump could be embroiled with a dozen hookers and a band of farm animals and in the end, nobody would give two shits. But a moralizing, hypocrite, pseudo-god-picked-me-Christian is permanently damaged goods. Get ready for the "I was a weak man, and I failed my god, my wife, and my country" speech with a shell-shocked wife standing by his side. What a gorgeous clusterfuck of a party!!!!

(15,222 posts)It would have been hard to justify taking the nomination away from Trump and giving it to Cruz, but, really, no other republican is competing with Trump in any way. If Cruz is out, Trump has to be the republican nominee.

(10,297 posts)I want to be crystal clear: these attacks are garbage. Just lawyer talk, as the article was in fact garbage, that happens to be true. You have to analyze lawyers' words very carefully, as they are highly skilled in lying and misrepresenting. Guess Mr. Trump was right again. Ted is "Lyin' Ted".

(1,571 posts)And Jesus spoke to Cruz and asked,
Art not thou divine? And thy willy, as it is of thy body, is it not also divine?
If thy member is divine does it not stand above the sacrament of marriage?
Are your carnal desires not also divine? Does your perversion not become righteous?
Cruz heard these words in his head and he knew that it was good.
He sojourned then into the brothels of gomorrah
Therein he spread the gospel of Ted and the contents of his purse
And of these ministries he did not speak with his wife

(33,063 posts)..instead of Cruz, who is the only other GOP candidate who could possibly defeat Trump if he doesn't have the 1,327 delegates necessary by the time the GOP convention convenes in Cleveland this summer.

(872 posts)Plus, Trump is on his third wife and had sex with other women during marriages 1 and 2, so where does he get off criticizing someone else.

(4,858 posts)...mainly for the sake of Heidi Cruz. She's been thru the Trump meatgrinder, and who can't feel sympathy for that? Being publicly humiliated in such a brutal, callous manner by a POS like Donald Trump, then have to go thru this...I really hope it isn't true. There are more important things in the world than a temporary political advantage a sex scandal gives "our" side...
