House seats are for only two years.

The last time was 2010, the next time is 2012 - then 2014 and 2016

...or will try to spin this as unimportant. Their official narrative (and they ALWAYS have an official narrative) this month is that Democrats are supposed to be panicking and screaming and running around in circles.

47. Because the Republican didn't win
Wed Jun 13, 2012, 08:10 PM
Jun 2012

Every day we run a story about Wall Street on our business page, and when the market is down the head the AP gives us is always something like "Stock market falls 352."

Last week, we ran a story headed "Market has positive day." You had to read the story to find out it was the biggest gain of the year.

And that's what Republicans do: any news that will impact the president or the Democratic Party negatively, or has the opportunity to do so, is trumpeted off the highest hill they can find. Any good news for Democrats is downplayed.

CNN did mention the win, but only in passing while covering more important things like sports, celebrities, and the usual blah-blah-blah. If the Rethugly had won the election, there would have been a LOT more attention devoted to the results.

She seems to be getting better every time I see her. Still short, though.
I'm delighted we got Barber through this: he's a true public servant with a terrific track record in Tucson.
Punk Kelly has no record, is not really known locally and is now seen as an appalling excuse for a human being. Let's hope he goes away, now.
