Less than 1 percent of the $61 million brought in by Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton's fundraising vehicle with state parties has stayed with the state parties, according to Politico's analysis of the latest Federal Election Commission filings.
The Hillary Victory Fund includes Clinton's presidential campaign, the Democratic National Committee and 32 state party committees. The fund lets Clinton receive checks of $350,000 or more from her supporters.
When Clinton launched the fundraising vehicle last summer, she said "when our state parties are strong, we win" and that she would "rebuild our party from the ground up."
The fund has spurred concern among some state party officials. One official with a participating state party called it a "one-sided benefit."

(39,215 posts)because what they did was make a deal with her that took the power out of the hands of the voters and elected delegates.
Besides the transcripts of her speeches I also want a full treasurers report from all 33 states democratic parties that took part in this mess. Full disclosure. NOW.

(11,076 posts)For months we have listened to how generous she was and here you have it. If you don't know Hill by now...she's never known a dollar that didn't stick to her palm. When do we get an apology from her fans? It will be interesting to compare tallys after all is said and done.
for months we have listened to what a horrible, horrible person Bernie is for (allegedly) not assisting down-ticket races.
Ain't that a kick in the head.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
