Casino workers protest outside the Tropicana casino in Atlantic City, N.J. on Friday May 6, 2016. Atlantic City casino workers have seen their wages increase by just 80 cents an hour over the last 12 years, and have begun what will likely be their toughest negotiations in nearly four decades as the casinos struggle to recover from the contraction of the gambling industry, and the city itself teeters on the edge of bankruptcy and a state takeover.
