Hollywood Studios Targeted in Gender Bias Investigation

Hollywood’s perceived gender bias has become a cause célèbre in recent years thanks to Patricia Arquette, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, and other powerful women in the industry who have spoken out about the issue.

Now, in a move that brings a new level of seriousness to their cause, the feds are investigating gender discrimination in the industry.

people who are hindered by gender bias in the entertainment industry are not. It is like other biases, not reserved for those at the top but actually served less to those at the top. The people who really suffer from such paradigms are those who never get the opportunities to build a career because of such biases and those who struggle to make a decent middle class living in an industry prone to hiring bias.

they're looking into it is because it DOES affect some rich people. If it didn't affect ANY rich people, it would be a non-issue for them.
