(1,968 posts)She'll get like 1 net in Kentucky and Sanders will net some in Oregon, but she'll still be up by like 270

(15,642 posts)I'm guessing the final will be the higher number (live in Oregon). So he clearly won Oregon. And to be gracious and credible, it wasn't big enough to make a meaningful dent in her pledged delegate lead -- at this point anyway.
He's winning a lot when it comes to changing the political landscape regardless. The Democratic Party will never be the same, and status quo is on its way out the window.

(35,619 posts)He also won Democrats Abroad which was a closed primary.

(5,668 posts)I call it the Stand With Her and not USA the "we can't add " crowd he just kicked ass tonight.
Adrahil
(13,340 posts)He needed to win by 30+ points in both states tonight. He lost KY, and looks to be winning OR by 9 points. Thiat's a devastating result for him. the only reaming big delegate states are CA and NJ. He'll lose NJ, which means he will have to take CA with something over 70% of the vote. Given that he couldn't do that in OR, do you think he he really has a shot at that? Expecially since the polls show himmbehind right now? He'd have to overperform the polls by 40 points.

Feeling the Bern
(3,839 posts)and his supporters. HRC is beyond vulnerable and if you think she has a prayer with independents and people who can't vote in Democratic primaries, you're dreaming.
Add to the fact the right wing will come out in droves to vote against her. Democrats picked the wrong, weaker candidate because the establishment and those that run super pacs know HRC can be bought.
PatrynXX
(5,668 posts)Speaking of violence. Hey Violence from Bernie 99 % fiction. Hillary or Trump Truth... think people see that for what it is and it's costing her votes
Feeling the Bern
(3,839 posts)me for her record and telling me I am making up my facts (That can be proven with about ten seconds of research), she gets further away from getting my vote.
I may avoid the president and just vote on propositions and down ticket races. I am that disgusted with HRC, her shills and her supporters.

(22,974 posts)Clinton's campaign against Sanders has been pretty nasty. Many of her supporters have bought into the scurrilous "angry old man" slur. Sanders is among the most honorable members of Congress.

(2,412 posts)Over at campaign headquarters in Portland you could really feel the Bern as people realized that at last their votes were counted and they had the power to make real change. The cheers of joy were loud and unrestrained. There was a great feeling of being all in this together. It was the best experience of my life as a voter for the last fifty years. For once I got a candidate I could really believe in. The crowd was mixed race and mixed age and seemed mixed income. It busted many myths and put downs that one has heard over the course of the campaign.
I though it was funny that the smear from the Hillary campaign and Debbie Wasserman Schulz about the agent provacateur death threats really had no influence here. They tried their best, but it had no traction in this election. I felt a little sorry for the FOX News guy who had to stay for entire event and listen to Bernie's speech and all the cheering. Maybe he learned something tonight. It was a joy to write another check and to volunteer for the campaign in California. This was a pivotal election.
It have our compatriots in California a lot of hope that they could do the same thing.
