In San Jose, Sanders spells out campaign differences with Clinton

Bernie Sanders laughed heartily Wednesday before taking the stage at his campaign rally in San Jose, noting the differences in his campaign activities in California compared with his rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, Hillary Clinton.
Sanders was scheduled to appear at two Bay Area rallies Wednesday he was also making a stop in Vallejo Wednesday evening and made a Southern California stop on Tuesday. Clinton or her husband, former President Bill Clinton, will headline four high-dollar private fundraisers in the Bay Area next week. The Clinton campaign says it is planning some public events in the state later this month.
Ha, ha, ha! That says everything about the difference, Sanders told The Chronicle Wednesday. Our goal and I dont know if well achieve it is to talk to 200,000 people in California in rallies like this until June 7 the date of the California primary election.
So I am out here on a hot day speaking to 5,000 people thats what I do with my time. Because I think its important for a candidate to communicate with ordinary people, with young people, senior citizens, the Vermont senator said. If you want a candidate who is out working and speaking with people rather than hanging out raising money from millionaires, I think the choice is pretty clear.

Of course, California only became relevant in the primaries after I graduated from San Jose State. And even if I were still a student, it's finals week this week at SJSU.
I originally thought of going to the Vallejo rally but decided against it after watching Bernie's Carson, CA rally last night online, because I believe he's going to say nearly the same stuff in Vallejo. Plus, the Golden State Warriors are playing tonight.
