Trump Could Still Use Campaign Donations to Pay Himself Back for $36M Loan After Saying He Wouldn't

Source: NBC News

Donald Trump insists he personally funded his primary campaign, but a new report filed by his presidential campaign tells a different story.

Trump has now spent a total of $43 million, according to his filing with the Federal Election Commission made available Saturday, and all of it is still structured as a loan to the campaign. That means he can be legally reimbursed for his spending, with new campaign donations, until August.

When NBC News reported on that option last week, Trump responded by saying he had "absolutely no intention of paying myself back for the nearly $50 million I have loaned the campaign."

I posted it here over and over but people still think he is 'self funded'. ha! If he does not win it will be the first things he talks about -- the payback. Pretty sure he will go for it anyway. People believe what they want to believe.

He may be stupid, but he ain't dumb. And since he knows his constituency, who are dumber than a doorknob to believe this con artist, they deserve to be duped. It couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of angry white folks who allowed Sen McConnell, in his efforts to make President Obama a one-term president, to succeed at their expense, in making sure that they and their children were also vicims of a less robust economy than this nation might have had otherwise, had he not sacrificed America's recovery at the alter of right-wing racial hatred of President Obama.

Had McConnell and the rest of the GOP tried to work together to help in an economic recovery which would have benefitted the nation as a whole, these angry white entitled bunch of folks and their children would have jobs and a more secure future today. Instead they went along with McConnell and his game of Craps and rolled snake eyes.

will come back to bite him on the butt. This was one of his biggest brags - that he was self-funded. Surely to goodness this has legs.

was not fully competent when he made those promises.
Finding witnesses to corroborate that story should be easy.
The key witness will be a man named John Miller.
