FBI agents wounded in bid to nab reputed gang member; suspect dead in Park Forest

Two FBI agents serving an arrest warrant suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds Tuesday morning at a Park Forest home, and a suspect in the residence was found dead, according to the FBI.

The deceased suspect was a reputed high-ranking member of the Black P Stone Nation street gang, according to a federal law enforcement source. FBI agents had gone to the home in the south suburb of Chicago to arrest him on charges of narcotics trafficking, part of a gang sweep involving several other ranking members of the gang.

The charges alleged the man had made a heroin sale to an FBI informant, the source said.

Court records show that the suspect had a long criminal record in Cook County, including a conviction for murder in 1986. He also served time for separate weapons offenses and was charged in 2007 with the aggravated assault of a police officer. He also had a 1999 conviction in Wisconsin for possessing heroin with the intent to distribute, according to records.

The thieves and murderers at the banks engineered a theft from the American people that cost 8 million families their homes, moved 50 million people into or nearer poverty for the rest of their, and their children's lives, cause hundreds of deaths and millions of ruined broken lives from the fallout. So this administration rewarded them.

Do I think they should be free just because they are black? I don't know, but that's not the point. Do I think we are hypocrites for not jailing the bastards that have caused the country irreparable harm? Well, yeah. But it goes beyond that. The Black P. Stone Nation aka BPSN is a Chicago-based street gang estimated to have more than 30,000 members. The gang was originally formed in the late 1950s as the Blackstone Rangers. In later years, an Islamic faction of the gang emerged, naming themselves the "El Rukn tribe of the Moorish Science Temple of America" (or simply El Rukn, Arabic for “the foundation[2]”).[3] The group's founder is Jeff Fort.[4]
