Trump will do it if $10,000,000 goes to charity. He is not saying that Bernie must come up with the money. The network airing it and the sponsors will gladly pay a sum to charity for the rights to broadcast.

Trump said he would do it for $10,000,000 - he'll pick a charity, probably women's issues.

Bernie says make it a big stadium.

$10,000,000 won't come from a couple commercials. In sports, that's PPV, stadium ticket-pricing, weeks of promotion.

Trump is into promotion. Is Bernie?

During the Super Bowl, a 30 second ad went for $4,000,000.

Now obviously this isn't the Super Bowl, but it will generate very high ratings, so the ad cost is likely to be substantial.

Even charging $500K for a 30 second spot, a network could have 30 minutes of commercials during a 2 hour broadcast, and that rate would generate $15,000,000. That's without even going into a potential ticket cost to attend the debate, which would also bring in revenue.

My guess is they would have to AGREE upon a charity. While it may not be exactly the one YOU want, there are plenty of neutral charities that would qualify:

Red Cross
Habitat for Humanity
Covenant House
StandUp for Kids
and the list goes on.....

so Hillary's problems stay out of the headlines? Trump is no fool and knows he can beat Hillary easily and he most likely would lose to Bernie.

Trump probably has cancelled checks with Hillary's signature on them; he could run on that alone for weeks. Then there's the transcripts, etc., etc.

But none of it matters if Hillary loses to Trump, besides those damn liberals the third way Democrats will also have Bernie to blame.

He's not going to be the nominee, so it's not helping him. Even on the theory that he could might, maybe, sorta still have a glimmer of a chance, you don't get in bed with the GOP to make that chance happen -- not if you are running as a Dem.

So if he's going to keep this crap up - yes, he should just piss off.

The MSM has been kind with no follow up questions for Trump.

Bernie would destroy him in a debate. So, admittedly, would Hillary. If Hillary does win, it would be a one two punch on him. And Hillary's team could learn from this debate how to approach the one she may have with him.

Also, I think it could be great for Hillary. Not only would the media not be talking about her emails for a few days, but if the debate turns into a circus with the help of Fox n Friends poking at both candidates, and the rest of the MSM portrays it as two extremists, Hillary could rise from the ashes and be portrayed as the only "sane" choice.

It could also be good for Bernie of course if he just does what he does...communicate directly to the American people, including those that would never have listened to him before.

But still. Maybe nothing about that debate will do anything but shore up her seriousness as a candidate and tarnish Bernie's.

This could show Trump people that Bernie can put the choke hold on the WWE host.

Regardless, this will be yuuuuge.
