Clinton: Trump shamed into making donations to veterans groups

Washington (CNN)Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that Donald Trump does not deserve "much credit" for his donations to veterans groups, saying that the presumptive GOP nominee only did so because a reporter had to "shame" him into doing it.


"Look, I'm glad he finally did it, but I don't know that he should get much credit," she told CNN's Jake Tapper on "The Lead." "I think the problem here is the difference between what Donald Trump says and what Donald Trump does."

She added, "It took a reporter to shame him into actually making his contribution," though she didn't specify a particular reporter by name.............

Hillary is right. The media vetting him and kept after Trump on this issue.

1. When he began raising funds instead of attending that debate,

I predicted that Trump was going to use his fundraiser to raise funds for himself. He simply cannot be trusted to handle other people's money. He's like a junkie, but he's addicted to money. I doubt that he's distributed all the money yet. And, I am confident that he will make a profit from this campaign. He has no control over his need to suck up ever dollar in sight.

7. Rachel Maddow did a pretty good expose on the fake Veterans Group that sponsored the event.

It was created about five minutes before the event started, had only one employee (a known GOP political hitman) and had no members. Why Rachel Maddow was the only member of the so-called press to report on that is a mystery to me.

2. WHY did only ONE lousy reporter check to see whether he'd actually carried through on his donation, and
3. WHY does HILLARY have to mention it for it to get the attention it deserves?

If we actually HAD a genuine PRESS, they would have found out about this immediately, and been talking about it constantly.

If Hillary Clinton had thrown a 'telethon' and promised to donate $1,000,000 of her own money to veterans, and it then turned out that she DIDN'T...there would be 24/7 press coverage of it for YEARS. The problem with Trump, as some have pointed out, is that he tells so many lies, and does so many clownish things that any ONE of those lies only gets about 48 hours of coverage before another one comes along to displace it.

The other problem is that the MSM is creating a false equivalence between the two front runners, which obviously doesn't exist. And they continue to judge Clinton by the standards of a politician, while judging Trump by the standards of a CLOWN. Nobody in the MSM will ever call him on his bullshit unless it drops below 'the standards normally expected of a clown.' And what exactly would constitute violating the standards normally expected of a clown? Juggling with hand-grenades instead of bowling pins? Hitting somebody in the face with a pie made of cement instead of whipped cream?

ABC had to defend the reporter that tRump called a sleeze. They actually did some investigative reporting for the evening news about it. Shocker! They did their job.

They called all the organizations the money was supposed to go to. Some of them got the funds soon after the event and yet others received their donations just a week ago. Ha! The pressure from the media made him use his own money to make good on the donations. He is addicted to money and himself and would corrupt America deeply. This is one sick SOB.
