There will be a new district attorney in Waupaca County this fall for the first time in decades.

Many of you called for a new DA after our Target 2 Investigates stories in May found dozens of drunk driving charges in Waupaca County were either being amended or dismissed.

The Lick case has been hanging on for too long. It has been very upsetting to the local people to not know what was going on with the investigation.

The only possible reasons for the delay were incompetence and corruption. Now it is starting to look like mostly incompetence.
