Elizabeth Warren To Endorse Hillary Clinton After The Democratic Primary Ends

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by azurnoir (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum).

Warren will endorse Clinton. The endorsement will probably come before the Democratic convention, but the fact that her advisers are communicating with the Clinton campaign suggests that it is only a matter of when not if Elizabeth Warren will endorse Hillary Clinton

She knows that a united front behind the presumptive nominee is more important than a temporary boost in a primary that's effectively been over for a while. She's going to be a great asset to the campaign.

The quotes from the WP seem to state that fairly clearly yet the article carries on into a tangent that it's a done deal.

No mention that if Warren does support Hillary it would be forced, not natural nor wanted... see, I can come up with baseless tangents with no evidence, either.

Bernie's campaign has been in touch with the Hillary campaign, too.. perhaps that means Hillary is going to support Bernie because their campaigns are in contact. Silly.

anything. When I see Elizabeth Warren standing next to Hillary and offering an endorsement, fine. Otherwise, this is all so much hot air.

By staying out of the Democratic presidential primary, Sen. Warren has strengthened her own personal brand without tying herself to either of the candidates. Sen. Warren’s devastating attacks on Donald Trump are a sign that she is going to play a big role in the fall Democratic campaign.

I wonder what "role" that might be?

I'm not holding my breath. Senator Warren could become a future Presidential candidate.

She can do so much better work where she is. I've said it from the beginning, with all of the "Bernie/Warren!" or even "Hillary/Warren!" ticket ideas, I really hope she doesn't get roped into rounding out a ticket as VP pick, because I really do think she's more effective where she is.
