Nancy Pelosi 'Proud to Endorse' Hillary Clinton for President
Source: ABC
Leader Nancy Pelosi endorsed Hillary Clinton for president this morning on "Good Morning America" before her home state's primary today.
"I'm a voter in California and I have voted for Hillary Clinton for president of the United States and proud to endorse her for that position," the Democratic superdelegate said.

Clearly the primary is coming to an end.
There will be no "contested" convention.

(8,978 posts)The GOP has "the establishment" as well but that entity happens to despise both Nancy and Hillary, not to mention Obama, with a white hot intensity. Yet the term is shared. What exactly is in common here, that the label gets bandied about summarily with no context whatsoever, other to imply "bad" or "end of argument". A lot of words and phrases exist for propaganda purposes only. Could this possibly be one of them? Interesting to note that Donald Trump is not considered to be part of "the establishment". Does that put him in a positive light? Enlightenment please!

(8,978 posts)If some or most do not approve of her endorsements, she can be primaried at two-year intervals or voted out in a general election (and in CA that could mean a contest between two Democrats based on the primary results). But Pelosi is an individual and as such is entitled to her own preference. This is not "kissing off", although her constituents would certainly be allowed the privilege of doing so.

And as for Bernie. . .actively fighting against war his entire life. But don't let principle trump party.
Democrat = good, even if they are wrong and sell out Democrat principles.
As for drinks if I were in Tucson still and not overseas, I think I'll pass. I don't normally have drinks with people who take passive-aggressive snarky shots at me for daring to criticize the all great and powerful Oz (the DNC and their huge right turn).

When you use the same bullshit talking points as libertarian website, you have no credibility.
And "perhaps, it's best I remain overseas?" Thanks Dad. I hadn't planned on coming back to the States since my career, wife, home and life are in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Singapore.
But thanks for the "order." Maybe if you got off your high horse. . .nah, just be the typical liberal Phil Ochs sang about.
