(284 posts)2383 is the magic number and she will not get those without super delegates who do not cast their votes until the convention. No matter I will not vote for her regardless, everyone else is free to do as they wish.

(613 posts)The entire MSM are now doubling down on this nonsense!
She cannot clinch. There aren't enough delegates. The super delegates do not vote until July.
This is the most shameful act I've ever seen the MSM in America commit.
It is a lie, a fallacy, campaign spin.

(13,889 posts)Do you also plan to spend November talking about how the result isn't official until the electoral college votes in December? Come on.

So far so good! Bernie has a real chance, and the MSM is full of nonsense!

(10,583 posts)I suppose you can argue that it was wrong to project her as the winner yesterday, when she had not officially clinched a majority of pledged delegates.
Speaking of the PDs, they are also allowed to change their minds at the convention.
But when a person has enough commitments from delegates to show a majority of all delegates to the convention it is fair to call them the presumptive nominee. If Bernie wants to fight to overturn that verdict then he is allowed to do so.
But I don't think it would be a good idea given that Hillary got millions of votes more than he did.

(13,283 posts)The rest of them, pledged delegate advantage, superdelegate advantage, popular vote advantage, rigged primaries, even a California victory, appear to have gone POOF one after the other.

If the DNC lets her run as the nominee with that hanging over her head, then you'll know they've decided to throw the election this year (a Wall Street demand perhaps?).

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
