Israeli Minister Calls For Ethnic Cleansing of 300,000 'Arabs' from West Bank Area

An Israeli minister said he wants to expel the estimated 300,000 Palestinians from the largest area of the West Bank and annex it, since “there are no Arabs at all” and they “do not constitute a significant numerical factor.”

“This is not the first time that Israeli officials have indulged in demeaning, racist and dehumanizing rhetoric against Palestinians,” said the press director for Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah in a statement on Wednesday, responding to Ariel’s Tuesday interview with the Times of Israel. “Palestinians must be treated as a people with rights and freedoms to be respected; not as an obstacle in the way of Israeli politicians' nationalistic ambition who seek to justify Israel's 'Jewish character' at the expense of the indigenous population,” Dajani added.

Several ministers have proposed annexing Area C, which includes 60 percent of the West Bank and is largely made up of Israeli settlements. Israel controls the area’s law enforcement, planning and construction, leading U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to say it "is effectively restricted for any Palestinian development.” Earlier, Israel’s Minister of Judiciary Affairs Ayelet Shaked said that Israeli law should be applied to the area.

Ariel did not mention what should happen after “transferring Arabs” besides pumping US$2.6 billion into the area in the next 10 years to “invest in economic projects that benefit" the Israeli settlers. He had previously said that the Palestinians living there should be granted permanent residence in what would then be Israel.

Hate to break it to you, but the majority of the Jewish population in Israel is Mizrahim (a subgroup of Sephardic Jews), which are the Jewish people that the surrounding Muslim nations ethnically cleansed during the various pogroms starting in 1929 (expulsions from what is now called "Arab East Jerusalem" due to all the Jews being killed or removed there) to mass rounds up and expulsions assisted by the Nazis and ex-Nazis from 1930 into 1950 and continuing into the 1970s.

And ~20% of Israelis are Arab, albeit increasingly Christians Arab due to religious persecution in P.A. controlled areas.

I have no idea where the idea came from that Jewish Israelis are, as a group, distinct-in-skin-color from Egyptians, Jordanians, Syrians, or Arabs, but it's nonsense. I suppose it can be excused because most Jewish people in the USA are Ashkenazi, who spent the Diaspora in Europe and thus mixed with Europeans.

But, go ahead, proceed ahead with bigotry.

Sure ... There are Israelis who are brown, and there are those who are white ... There are some who are black ...

The desire to kill Palestinians is strong amongst that group known as Israelis ... Not all of them, but, many of them ...

But that is neither here nor there, and you know that, hence your fallacious appeal to try to paint me as 'racist'

Now .. Let's get back to what I REALLY said - There is a member of the Democratic Party, one who is running for President, for instance, who has a habit of endorsing wars and other military actions that happens to kill MANY people of MANY colors, tints and hues .. however, most of those who bore the brunt of that war activity were in fact dark colored human beings who have every right to be safe and secure as any other human being ...

I don't like seeing anybody get killed, no matter WHAT color they are ... It just so happens that the focus of these war loving people tends to be nations with oil and many people of color ..

I don't want them to be harmed in any way - and this is a racist viewpoint, you say?

I say, you are being intentionally deceptive and misleading ... So much so that I really have no choice but to toss you out of my DU ... For good ...

Enjoy the killing ... With Hillary, you will get plenty enough, even for you ...

Signed, Pacifist Liberal ...

Whatever Jews in Israel look like it has nothing to do with talk of annexing Area C and forcefully removing 300,000 Palestinians and replacing them with Israeli Jews.

And, no, this has nothing to do with ISIS.

But, if anyone saw the Thom Hartmann show today, the biggest problem we have is the build up by NATO towards Russia. The speaker on his show was Professor Stephen Cohen, a contributing editor to The Nation. Our MSM has not even mentioned this.

What does it have to do with the illegal annexation of Area C and displacing 300,000 people? How is a massive act of ethnic cleansing (which is a form of terrorism) supposed to stop attacks against Jews in Israel? It hasn't worked in the past. Why should anyone think it will now?

is not the only Israeli inciting such crap by a long shot. I seriously doubt these poor people were killed for no other reason than being Jews, unless being Jewish means keeping millions of people at gunpoint in an illegal occupation for 50 years, stealing their land and killing them by the thousands.
