He's not doing this to win any more. Nobody had any doubts that DC would go to Clinton. Duh!

Bernie certainly never did. He does know how to count, and we all know (except maybe you don't?) that DC never had enough delegates to help him win. He is winning, just not what you think he's trying to win.

But some of you are kind of freaking me out in your ignorance of what Bernie is all about. Seriously, after all this time and you still don't get it?

Or was this just another opportunity to bash Bernie that you couldn't resist?

And he no longer has the ability to make a difference.

He lost because he didn't sell whatever it was that he was about.

Just watched The Thom Hartman show and the host (can't remember his name, Sam something?) asked a question of Zaid Jilani:

Wouldn't it just be helpful if Bernie can keep his promise to his many supporters to fight no and maybe have some kind of cathartic experience there?

Part of Zaid Jilani's response:

Well, what was really interesting is that VOX and Morning Consult did a poll of all Americans and they found out that across demographics, Americans did not feel that Bernie Sanders should be dropping out any time soon. In fact the only group where more Americans felt that way was Americans over 100K in income, you know family income. Perhaps they felt that way because they don't like Bernie's message, but in terms of how Americans feel, I think people like having Bernie out there contesting the message of the democratic party and using all his leverage he can to create a progressive platform and to build a progressive movement that will last not only past the election, but maybe, you know, ten years from now.

I'm done wasting time with you. On ignore you go.

Bernie has been All About Bernie from the beginning. A lot of us knew that - you obviously didn't.

We "got it" when he "joined" the Dem Party because - as he himself said - he needed the media attention.

We "got it" when he continued to demean the Party he was allegedly running for.

We "got it" when he claimed he could deliver things like tuition-free college and single-payer healthcare when he KNEW he couldn't.

We "got it" when he whined incessantly that long-standing primary rules were unfair to HIM - not anyone else, just HIM.

We "got it" when he railed against super-delegates being able to overturn the will of the voters - and then decided to try and convince them to do exactly that when he realized it was his only shot at the nomination.

We "got it" when kept asking his donors to send money because he "could still win" when he knew for a fact that he couldn't.

We "got it" when he refused to accept that he'd lost this race by every imaginable measure.

We "got it". You didn't. That's on you, not on those who saw through All About Bernie from day one.

He weakened himself by staying in the DC primary. What was the point if he knew he would lose? It merely confirms that he has little appeal in big urban areas and with minorities. What will he do now, complain again about the system being rigged? Deliver another speech dripping with resentment?

Bernie was winning by 21% then POOF it changed to Hillary winning by 61%. Also, a rapid change for "Rocky". He went from 16% to 0.5% in an instant as well.

Just saying... I watched it with my own eyes.
