Abused 8 year old boy from North Braddock has died

At Children’s Hospital, the victim was rushed into surgery and then moved into the ICU. Doctors told police the boy is on a ventilator, unresponsive, had a large left subdural bleed and herniated brain stem. He also has bruising on his head, chest, buttocks and throat. He is listed in critical condition. According to a criminal complaint, doctors described his condition as “grave.”
According to the complaint, Williams told police he and the boy’s mother, Allehsa Lininger, were at Ohio Pyle State Park with a friend. Lininger’s three children, including the victim, were also at the park. Williams said he and his friend started drinking when they left Ohio Pyle and continued to drink at Lininger’s family’s property at Big Bear in West Virginia.
The group traveled back to Pittsburgh, dropped their friend at home and then Lininger dropped Williams and her three children off at their High Street home in North Braddock. She went to her custodial job in the South Side.
Williams told police the victim was sleeping in his second-floor bedroom when Williams tried to walk through it en route to the third floor. Williams said he tripped over a laundry basket, became angry and yelled at the boy to clean his room. He left the room and when he returned, the victim was sitting on the end of his bed. Angry, Williams said he grabbed the boy with the intention of slamming him in the middle of the bed. Williams missed and the victim fell on the floor. He told police her recalled hearing a “bump” as the boy fell on the floor. He told the boy to get up and he didn’t respond. Williams picked the boy up and the boy vomited.
