Corey Lewandowski had a $1.2-million offer from HarperCollins to write a book chronicling his time running Donald Trumps presidential campaign, but the publishing giant backed away from the deal amid concerns about Lewandowskis nondisclosure agreement, according to two sources familiar with the talks.
Lewandowski, working through a California-based representative named Robert Stryk, began soliciting offers for a book, tentatively titled Let Trump be Trump, from multiple publishers in March, while he was working as Trumps campaign manager, according to one of the sources, a Republican operative.
A source in the publishing industry said Lewandowskis representative received at least some interest from as many as five publishing houses, but that, in several cases, there was concern about how his nondisclosure agreement might affect any resulting book.

(40,210 posts)He is terrible on TV. He always looks like a deer in the headlights. He can't give an objective opinion about anything, as if he is afraid of his former boss. Compare him to Rick Tyler who got fired from the Cruz campaign; Tyler actually has a personality and can hold a coherent conversation.

I can't stick with CNN for campaign talk for too long if Lewandowski is on the "panel".

(51,554 posts)CNN must have thought he would provide unique insider insight about the machinations of the Trump campaign. But it's like he never left the campaign and is just spewing Trumpian talking points as usual. He never actually answers the question or provides any sort of insight.
I don't know about Tyler, but Steve Schmidt over at MSNBC is pretty candid and tolerable for a former GOP campaign guy. Schmidt actually admits when a Republican is doing something stupid. Not Lewandowski. Maybe Lewandowski is too stupid to realize when someone is doing something stupid.

(7,675 posts)he was moderating to tone of his campaign. Meanwhile we angles a job for Lewandowski at CNN as his Trojan Horse in the media to ensure his message will be upfront for the last lap of the campaign
Lewandowski fortunately for the Democrats is even more unlikeable and unbelieveable than his boss
