Investigators successfully download EgyptAir flight data

Investigators have successfully downloaded data from crashed EgyptAir flight MS804's Flight Data Recorder and are validating over 1,200 parameters before the analysis process, Egypt's investigation committee said on Wednesday.

"Preliminary information shows that the entire flight is recorded on the FDR," Egypt's Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee said in a statement. "Recorded data is showing consistency with ACARS messages of lavatory and avionics smoke."

Recovered wreckage from the jet's front section showed signs of high temperature damage and soot, the committee said. The Cockpit Voice Recorder is still in France being repaired.

The airframe hadn't even reached the bottom of the Mediterranean before he was waving his tiny little hands yelling, "Terrorists!"

is essential to prevent another such accident.

I hope this will eventually bring the families/friends of the passengers and crew some peace and closure.

I agree with you whole heartedly, secondwind. The technological abilities our scientists and engineers have developed are awesome.

Additionally, think about the ability to located the black boxes under thousands of feet of water with debris scattered across the Mediterranean seabed. It would be like trying to find your car keys on the side of a mountain in the dark.

With the information they'll download from the recorders, we'll find out what happened to the plane... if they tell us the truth.

He will look pretty STUPID if an electrical malfunction is to blame instead of terrorists as he asserts. (but then STUPID is how he rolls)

Donald Trump will simply deny he ever said it was terrorists. When confronted with the video, he'll just smirk, shrug his shoulders and say the crooked Hillary murdered an ambassador.
