NRA Filmed Its Rule-Breaking Pro-Trump Ad At Alexandria National Cemetery
Blog ››› 7 min 20 sec ago ››› TIMOTHY JOHNSON

............On June 30, the NRA Political Victory Fund launched a $2 million ad buy in swing states. The ad features veteran Mark Geist -- a survivor of the 2012 Benghazi terror attacks -- as he walks in and stands in front of a national cemetery.

Because of the distinctive fencing and foliage, Media Matters can identify the cemetery as Alexandria National Cemetery. A Friday visit to the cemetery confirmed it as the location for the ad.

The cemetery is located in Old Town, Alexandria, which is also the headquarters for NRA News and the site of an office of Ackerman McQueen, the NRA’s ad firm.

It is a violation of government policy to film a political ad at a national cemetery. In recent years, several political ads have been pulled because they were filmed in national cemeteries.................

2. NRA logic.

To show how much they give a shit about dead vets they demonstrate how much they don't give a shit about dead vets.

Next they'll tell you that pumping more and more deadly weapons into your community somehow makes your community a safer place to live.

Those crazy galoots.

A pro gun commercial filmed with a graveyard as a back drop. Pretty sure there's a quite a few people buried who were killed by guns both in and out of warfare.

and tell the GOP and NRA they will not be used as propaganda. As someone else suggested, pull the ad, fine the crap out of them and pass the money along to a vet organization.

Those soldiers had guns and got killed by guns. It has nothing to do with the 2nd amendment.

2nd amendment supporters claim they are using their guns to oppose the federal government....which means they would fight against American soldiers.

I understand people owning guns in certain circumstances. Guns are convenient when you live out in the boonies and need to hunt to survive. The average angry idiot owning an assault rifle? I don't fucking think so! The NRA is all about money and power. This organization has nothing to do with freedom. They're the largest death cult in history. The NRA has blood on their hands, and all their money and power will never wash it away.
