Revealed, Putin's propaganda girls working here to 'destabilise' UK: Pair front new news agency

Source: Daily Mail UK

These are the glamorous women fronting a new Russian news agency in Britain that experts say is tasked with spreading conspiracy theories. Oxana Brazhnik and Johanna Ross work for Sputnik, which critics claim is a propaganda machine set up by the Kremlin to destabilise the UK.

Among the controversial stories the service generated was the suggestion that the murder of MP Jo Cox was linked to EU remain supporters. The broadcaster, which opened a base in Edinburgh this year, was created by Vladimir Putin and is the international branch of a state-controlled news agency.

Miss Brazhnik, who heads the bureau, has close ties to the Russian president’s inner circle. She is a former political adviser to Vyacheslav Volodin, a hard-line politician who has been credited with masterminding Putin’s election victories.
...
She describes her objective as ‘overcoming bias and ignorance in the media’.

2. The Daily Mail? Isn't that a right wing RACIST rag? Why, yes it is.
Mon Aug 1, 2016, 10:18 AM
Aug 2016

Of course it is.

Daily Mail

The Daily Mail is a British daily conservative, middle-market[2][3] tabloid newspaper owned by the Daily Mail and General Trust.[4]
...
Editorial stance
In the late 1960s, the paper went through a phase of being liberal on social issues like corporal punishment,[citation needed] but soon returned to a conservative line. The Mail has traditionally been a supporter of the Conservatives and has endorsed this party in all recent general elections. While the paper retained its support for the Conservative Party at the 2015 general election, the paper urged conservatively inclined voters to support UKIP in the constituencies of Heywood and Middleton, Dudley North and Great Grimsby where UKIP was the main challenger to the Labour Party.[58]

and, of course, being a rightwing rag -- IT IS RACIST:

Criticism
Racism accusations
There have been accusations of racism, mainly from left-wing sources.[124] However, in 2012, an article in The New Yorker by former Mail reporter Brendan Montague criticised the Mail's content and culture, stating, "None of the front-line reporters I worked with were racist, but there's institutional racism [at Daily Mail]."[125]

AHEM, I thought we weren't supposed to quote rightwing conservative sources in LBN?

Is this what LBN has sunk to? A poster quoting and linking rightwing RACIST "news" sources? And no one objects?

Wow. Just wow.

Yeah, they're mostly right about Sputnik, but you're right too. It's opinion/analysis from a right wing source.

7. The Daily Mail has attacked Hillary Clinton VICIOUSLY time and again

Hillary Clinton called just ONE of the 35 Benghazi survivors in the months after the terror attack – and only because right-hand-woman Huma Abedin told her to

It took Hillary Clinton at least 48 days to speak with any of the government personnel who were evacuated from Benghazi, Libya after the deadly anti-American terror attacks there, according to sworn testimony from her longtime senior aide Huma Abedin.
Abedin testified in October of last year in a closed-door deposition that after checking in with a single injured agent from the State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security, a man who would spend more than a year recovering at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Clinton went the rest of 2012 without speaking to another survivor.
That view contradicts what Hillary Clinton would tell Congress six days later in an open hearing.

WHY is this right-wing RACIST rag that lies about Democrats like Hillary Clinton allowed as a LBN source?

Mind you I am not claiming they are in this case but would it surprise me if they were right that this is happening? No, not really.

8. Hardly surprising since the EU is Russia's nearest rival of substantial size and

it puts a damper on any thoughts that Putin might have of attempting to annex any EU members territory which kinda explains the timing for the Ukraine invasion since they are still in the talking stages of joining the EU and the EU wouldnt likely come to their defense unless they were a full member of the EU.

we have a propagandistic elite controlled media too, don't we?

Recent example: The refusal of the MSM to facilitate a reasoned
debate about NATO.

All the MSM does is give us the politically correct response, in effect saying
to Trump or anyone else, "YOU CAN"T SAY THAT!"

I know the Trumpster is an idiot on this and nearly all topics, but
a debate about NATO is reasonable and long overdue.

That young women intelligent and pretty enough to front news services and host shows have something 'glamorous' about them is not exactly surprising. RT would not be that successful if they hadn't had these exceptionally pretty and bright young women.
