Donald Trump: 'I'm Afraid' The General Election Is 'Gonna Be Rigged'

Source: Talking Points Memo

At a Monday campaign event in Columbus, Ohio, Donald Trump teed up for a potential challenge to the integrity of the fall general election, an escalation of his rhetoric about the "rigged" primary system.

"I'm afraid the election's gonna be rigged, I have to be honest," Trump told the crowd. While Trump has often questioned the integrity of the primary contests in both parties, his newest remarks seemed to begin laying groundwork for him to contest the Nov. 8 election results.

It was a line of attack that longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone pushed on a podcast with Breitbart's Milo Yiannopoulos that was posted online Friday. Stone suggested voter fraud is "widespread" and said if Hillary Clinton wins a state like Florida after polls show Trump in the lead, the election would be "illegitimate."

"If there’s voter fraud, this election will be illegitimate, the election of the winner will be illegitimate, we will have a constitutional crisis, widespread civil disobedience, and the government will no longer be the government," Stone said. He also promised a "bloodbath" if the Democrats attempt to "steal" the election.

Stone bullshit about voting fraud was countered by an actual federal judge in the Wisconsin ruling

“The Wisconsin experience demonstrates that a preoccupation with mostly phantom election fraud leads to real incidents of disenfranchisement, which undermine rather than enhance confidence in elections, particularly in minority communities,” U.S. District Judge James Peterson wrote.

Unfortunately, elections are rigged, and by both parties. The so called election fraud in this country is not that perpetrated by the average Joe ( or Joan), but rather by the Republican and Democratic parties. Add to that the voting restrictions inflicted by the GOP governors, and you now have a winning, or at the very least, a challenging election.
After the crap that Debbie Wasserman Schultz pulled on Bernie, nothing surprises me. So, if you think for one minute that your vote really counts, you are living in a bubble.

Does anyone see the similarity between Trump and Hitler? As least Hitler had won two medals for bravery and knew exactly how to exploit the economic woes Germany was going through. Not condoning him by any means, but he at least wrote of his intentions in my Kampf and stuck to it. Trump rants and raves incoherently, is obviously not mentally stable, and the world revolves around him. Just like Hitler who chose the Jews as the enemy, Trump has chosen the Muslims. So who are we stuck with for a presidential pick? A status quo professional politician who will keep things the way they are, or a dangerous fascist lunatic who is obviously unbalances. How did we ever reach this stage.
There is however one more point no one every mentions - the biggest terrorist and warmongering country is ourselves. We are always interfering and toppling legitimate governments (Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Greece, Iraq and so on..) and are constantly at war. The people need to arise and tell the government to stop these acts and to are for his own citizens first, and not indulge in hate and fear.
