New Zealand's High Court has ruled that the police raid on Kim Dotcom’s house was unlawful along with seizure of the hard drives that were later cloned and illegally taken from New Zealand to the US by the FBI.

The warrants issued to search Dotcom’s mansion were general and did not clearly describe the offences they stipulated, ruled Justice Helen Winkelmann. “They were general warrants, and as such, are invalid,” she explained.

The New Zealand police force is currently holding talks with the Crown Law on the next course of action and has refrained from commenting on the judgment.

The ruling released on Thursday by Justice Helen Winkelmann insists the warrants were too vague concerning the scope of the search and the items authorized to be seized by police.

What they did in NZ was wrong and little more than a part of the corporate security state we live in. It is the same as the abusrd extraditions with UK. The threads are here on DU. People can read them and see it is more of the same..

The NZ police are more MORAL than the American ones are. Why is this? People had better ask this.

We know what such moral people like this have built in the past.... We have seen the results. That is where ALL of this leads to. A new country to history exists because of stuff like this even. It is all matters of degree is all. From what I read, one young man in UK that they are trying to extradite even has Aspbergers and some other illness, yet they continue to try to extradite him. The other young man, England will not even prosecute him for a crimes that garners 6 months in jail in UK, and the American Govt. want to put him in an American prison for up to 5 years for file sharing, only providing LINKS even from what I am told, that is insane. This to me is a part of Tyranny.

It all tyranny, not law enforcement.... I just cannot see it any other way. What I have to ask myself, is why are they pursuing people to the ends of the earth for FILESHARING, when there is SERIOUS SERIOUS SERIOUS Bank Fraud occuring globaly?

I ASK MYSELF, WTF WITH THEIR PRIORTIES. WHO DO THEY REALLY WORK FOR? US? OR RIAA? THESE ASSETS SHOULD BE FIGHTING BANKING FRAUD, NOT SEARCHING AROUND THE WORLD FOR KIDS SHARING FILES. NOT EVEN MEGA-MAN IF THEY CAN'T DO IT PROPERLY AND LAWFULLY.

THIS IS ALL PURE BUFOONERY AND PEOPLE NEED TO CALL IT THAT. IT IS ALL TYRANNY BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IT IS A PART OF.
THESE PEOPLE, WHAT THEY DID IN NZ, THEY WOULD ALSO PLANT EVIDENCE IN IN A PERSONS HOME TO GET THEM OR STEAL YOUR VOTE.

THEY HAVE ALREADY SHOWN THEY WOULD DO IT, WHY SHOULD I THINK ANY DIFFERENT. IT WOULD BE STUPID FOR ANYONE TO THINK ANY DIFFERENT THAN THIS, AND ALL OF THE CITIZENS ARE NOT STUPID.
THEY BREAK THE LAWS OF OTHER COUNTRIES AND OUR OWN LAWS.
THIS IS NOT LAW ENFORCEMENT, IT IS CRIMINALS GOING AFTER CRIMINALS, AND IT IS WRONG. MORALLY AND LEGALLY. THIS IS FACT.

WE KNOW THAT IT IS BECAUSE WE JUST READ IT AND SIMPLY BECAUSE IT IS TRUE. IT HAS BEEN SEEN AROUND THE WORLD, ALL OF IT. AND EVERYONE IS SICK OF IT. THE TRUTH OF IT IS, IN THE WORLDS EYES THIS IS NO DIFFERENT THAN SAY AMERICAN THUGGERY IN SOUTH AMERICA. PEOPLE NEED TO WAKE UP TO THAT FACT.

IT MAKES US LOOK BAD TO EVERYONE TO INCLUDE OURSELVES. THE TYRANNY IS THE ROT, THE ROT IS THE TYRANNY. THEY ARE THE SAME THINGS. AND THE ENTIRE WORLD SEE AMERICA EXPORTING MORE OF IT. AND THAT IS A FACT. THESE ARE ALL FACTS.

ITS ALL TYRANNY PEOPLE.

Meanwhile.....The Progression continues......

3. The Corporate Authorities
Thu Jun 28, 2012, 07:09 AM
Jun 2012

The Corporate Authorities do a great job solving problems nobody has.

I took a class called "Managing Multiple Priorities", the essence was simply put your highest priority on tasks with the most money at risk.

This sort of police action is in the category of "Solving problems nobody has". The most recent shining magnificent example is the Republican State voting fraud purges. In terms of magnitude bogus voters are statistically smaller than the number of Americans hit by lightning! On a list of governmental priorities, this "problem" is literally 999,999th out of a million, yet they do it aggressively. It is a screaming proof Republican's can only win elections if they game and steal them.

And the authorities go after Mr. Dotcom whilst they let all the Maddoff-caliber Wall Street criminals continue to walk free amongst us while they pay themselves the salaries of royalty for doing "God's Work".

THE PLUTOCRACY IS HERE AND NOW IN THE PRESENT MOMENT. The last nail in the coffin of our former Democracy was the supreme court decision this week (the Montana Decision) that Citizen's United also applies to state elections.

MONEY IS SPEECH AND CORPORATIONS ARE PEOPLE. That is almost the dictionary definition of PLUTOCRACY!

Was that the purpose? Make life hard for the owner, to get that site off the net, then let the lawyers fight over the crumbs left.

8. Government won't do Dotcom raid inquiry – Key

Despite mistakes in the legal attempt to get Kim Dotcom extradited to the United States, the Government is this morning rejecting calls for an inquiry.

Search warrants used to seize evidence from Dotcom's mansion north of Auckland have been ruled illegal.

It's the third negative outcome in court for police since the FBI launched its bid for the Megaupload founder's extradition to face trial for alleged copyright piracy.

Prime Minister John Key told RadioLIVE there won't be an inquiry, and it's not this country's problem ...
