Pence: I never considered leaving Trump ticket

Source: CNN

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence said Monday that he did not consider leaving Donald Trump's presidential ticket, saying it's the "greatest honor of my life" to be nominated by the Republican Party as Trump's running mate.

"You know I'll always keep my conversations with Donald Trump and my family private. But it's absolutely false to suggest that at any point in time we considered dropping off this ticket," Pence told CNN's Alisyn Camerota in an interview on "New Day."

Pence was then asked if evidence surfaced that Trump had groped women, like he described in 2005, would he drop off the ticket. But he deflected to accusations against Bill Clinton.

"Alisyn, he said last night very clearly that that was talk, not actions. And I believe him and I think the contrast between that and what the Clintons were involved in 20 years ago -- the four women that were present last night -- was pretty dramatic," Pence said.

Just like tRump, Pence is radical enough to get the nomination through the support of the teabagger and alt-right movements. And just like tRump, Pence is so radical that he'd stand zero chance of winning the election. (Although his dropping out would certainly make for some entertaining theater.)

He won't be able to get the Trump stench off him no matter how many times he bathes in tomato juice.

8. Is it too much to dream that they don't even bother fielding a candidate then?

Or if they do it's some sacrificial lamb who knows in advance he or she is not going to win and decides not to really do any serious campaigning? I'm not saying that Mrs. Clinton should just plan on coasting in if she's going for a second term then in any event. But has der Gropenfuhrer damaged the GOP so badly that they have to spend the next 40 years doing an autopsy on themselves before they can even think of fielding candidates for national office again?

Love your neighbor. Feed the poor. Heal the sick.

Right wingers call themselves Christian yet they're actions are designed merely to enrich themselves and carry on their hatred of those unlike themselves.

They only give two shits about religion when they can score political points, can bash their opponents over their heads with it, or can use it to oppress other people.

It's amazing how quickly they abandon religion given all the talk they do about Jeeeeeeeezus. (No relation to Jesus Christ of Nazareth).

The tweets during the debate about Pence dropping off were instigated by him to keep his options open if Trump completely tanked, to the point that even the true believers deserted him. Trump's every answer was directed right at the red-meat. right-wing nut jobs, also known as his base.
Once the lunatic fringe clung to the lifeboats, Pence knew he had to stay aboard, whether he wanted to or not, so he could waste lots of time and money on a futile run in 2020.

Whatever sort of chance this guy had of spewing his own form of hatred at the US is completely over now. He will be forever tainted by the orange stench of the Great Donald.
