Stern Says Trump’s Hot Mic Comments Were Definitely Not ‘Locker Room Talk'
Source: TPM
Shock jock Howard Stern on Monday refuted his friend Donald Trumps claim that his leaked comments about grabbing womens genitals were just locker room talk.
I have never been in the room when someone has said, 'Grab them by the pussy," Stern said on his Sirius satellite radio show, quoting Trumps own words caught on a hot mic during a 2005 Access Hollywood appearance. "No one's ever advocated going that step where you get a little bit, 'Hey I'm going to invade someone's space.'"
Though Stern built his own reputation on raunchy interviews grilling celebrities about their sex lives, he said there was a line between lewdly describing womens bodies and boasting about sexual assault.
-snip-
I fully knew what I was doing when I interviewed Trump. I knew I had a guy who loved to talk about sex, Stern said. I had a guy who loved to evaluate women on a scale of 1 to 10. These are avenues I went down because I knew it would entertain the audience.

(56,829 posts)it's a complete 180 from Trump's comment about grabbing them. It's usually, "She couldn't keep her hands off of me" or that sort of thing, which is likely an exaggeration, but it's almost the complete opposite of forcing yourself on a woman.

(65,251 posts)I was in locker rooms in GS, HS, College, at the "Y", and at the fitness center that was near where i used to live. I didn't even hear in high school, but the bus rides to and from games and track meets, i did hear it. IN HIGH SCHOOL!
In college, guys might talk about some woman on campus, but it was usually just benign stuff about how cute someone thought she was.
At the Y and at the club (as an adult) never hear any such thing. Not once.

(30,058 posts)Now she is defending his actions by saying he was egged on by Biĺly Bush. I know if is hard to see through dollar bills but she can't be this blind. Trump admitted sexual assault and now there are those coming forward saying they are victims. If the Clinton campaign set this up they are brilliant to have the foresight to get the tape years ago because they knew Trump would be running for president.

And aside from his "decency," Stern has single-handed made the kind of talk Trump was indulging in OK for public consumption.
