PEOPLE Reveals 6 Witnesses Who Corroborate Natasha Stoynoff’s Story
Source: People Magazine
Six colleagues and close friends who corroborate former PEOPLE writer Natasha Stoynoffs account of being attacked by Donald Trump in 2005 are now coming forward. Among them is a friend who was with Stoynoff when she ran into Melania Trump later in N.Y.C.
The wife of the Republican nominee denies meeting Stoynoff after the attack, but Stoynoffs friend Liza Herz remembers being there during the chance meeting.
They chatted in a friendly way, Herz, who met Stoynoff in college, says. And what struck me most was that Melania was carrying a child and wearing heels.
Stoynoffs story, which made national news when it broke last week and is reprinted in this weeks issue of PEOPLE, describes a run-in with Trump when she was covering him and pregnant wife Melania on assignment for PEOPLE in December 2005.

(27,843 posts)Asking a reporter "why don't we see you anymore?" is rather strange - it makes me think that she doesn't have many friends, maybe not any close friends at all, or at least that she has access to.

He needs to be locked up for all those women he has assaulted. This can only get worse for this pile of flesh.

(5,106 posts)Natasha did tell her friends at that time. Under the circumstances, her career might have been at risk, and there was "no win" if she had done so. Bill Cosby apparently got away with this for years, although his image was cleaner than Trump's. Just staying away from these men in future and warning women off, IF they were likely to encounter Trump would be pretty normal, all things considered. I never ran into "the Donald," but being a contemporary in age to the man, and having a fairly unimpressive bust, I probably wouldn't have needed to worry. I had been inappropriately "hit on" many times when younger (query from my then husband, "why won't you ever dance with so-and-so when he asks you?" , This reaction on the part of his victims seems reasonable, especially being "who he was." I don't understand the women (quoted in the full article) who doubt them due to the time that has passed.
