Tim Kaine to deliver all-Spanish speech in Arizona on Thursday
Source: latinofoxnews.com
Democratic vice presidential candidate Sen. Tim Kaine is going to give one of his last campaign speeches before the Nov. 8 election entirely in Spanish, the Clinton camp announced Monday.
Kaine will deliver his speech, billed as the first all-Spanish speech by a nominee in a U.S. presidential election, in Phoenix on Thursday.
He will draw contrasts between Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and GOP nominee Donald Trump, portraying his partys ticket as inclusive and respectful of Latinos, and Trump and the GOP as hostile to the ethnic community, according to the Clinton camp.

(36,803 posts)Remember how the GOP whined that Kerry spoke French But they did not whine when Romney could speak French?
They will whine about Kaine giving a speech in Spanish but they did not mind when Dubya sang the National Anthem in Spanish on the campaign trail.
Then there was Jeb who said he was Spanish.

(5,166 posts)That is, is his accent reasonable and does he know enough vocabulary to express himself well extemporaneously in Spanish?
Even if the answer is somewhat negative, it's an obvious plus that he is fluent enough in Spanish to communicate with that large constituency.

Besides, it'll take Donald a week for his translators to figure out what you said. By then, this will all be over.

(6,148 posts)Florida? Are we so sure that we have Florida that a Spanish-speaking trip there is unnecessary?
Can we win Arizona?
I sure wish we could get rid of McCain...

It looks like Arpaio is finally finished, but we'll probably still be stuck with McCain.
