Source: Fox2 News - TV affiliate

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s lead has been cut to 3 percent in Michigan as a result of losing support among men and 65 and older women, according to the latest Fox 2 Detroit/Mitchell Poll of Michigan. In the four-way ballot question that includes Libertarian Party candidate former New Mexico Gov. Note: I am typing the word "poll" into google (set on the NEWS category) and posting new polls that have not yet been posted to Late Breaking News.

Nothing is being "cherry picked", so if any poll results are unsettling please don't shoot the messenger. Yesterday I was the victim of a semi-witchhunt for doing this.

Why do this? First, because it IS late breaking news. Second, to fight any complacency if polls actually ARE tightening. Third, as a protest against those that would try to censor or intimidate people into not posting topics that they just don't like. This IS Democratic Underground, posting from reputable sources should not be censored. Thank you.

AGAIN, since you seemed to have missed it:

Type "poll" into google on the news setting at 7:31 AM and you can see the results for yourself. Good grief.

I am posting ALL polls that turn up that have not yet been posted to LBN. Sorry if so many seem to be tightening, that is not my fault.
False accusations against me just cheapen DU.

Still waiting for you to say was sketchy about that poll.

Some of these polls ARE worse than others, I appreciate it when people discuss the merits of ALL the results. Please don't cherry pick one and then claim I am exhibiting so bias or nefarious intention.

Thanks.

I am posting ALL polls that turn up when I do this, nothing is cherry picked.

Instead of impugning my motives why don't you tell me what's wrong with the A- pollster's poll that I ALSO posted today?

Please, debunk any and all polls, but please don't shoot the messenger and impugn my motives.

Thank you.

Posting these sketchy outlier polls are like the last stand at the Alamo. Full of desperation and false hope.

So, thanks for posting them -- keep at it!!!!!!

I am glad my stated motive of doing this to fight complacent is working.

Remember this from the op?

"Why do this? First, because it IS late breaking news. Second, to fight any complacency if polls actually ARE tightening. Third, as a protest against those that would try to censor or intimidate people into not posting topics that they just don't like. This IS Democratic Underground, posting from reputable sources should not be censored. Thank you. "

I have posted 5 or so posts this morning, the results were mixed for both candidates. One in particular was damning for tRump. Yet, you an others continue to assign some nefarious motive to me doing this..

That is simply wrong and bordering on rudeness. This semi-witchhunt is unbecoming on DU. To counter this I have go to great lengths to explain what I am doing so ANYONE can simply type "poll" into google and check the NEWS results for themselves. Shrug,

2-3 point leads on Romney in many of the battleground states, and still won by a commanding margin in the EC. A Clinton blowout would have been nice, but this still looks like a comfortable win.

Polls don't matter, votes do. Heading to a phone bank in my tiny village on the west (red) side of Michigan this evening. On Sunday and Monday (after voting) will be heading to a phone bank in a bigger town. Although I've given money to the Dems over the years, this year is a first for being contacted to volunteer. I have a Clinton/Kaine sign in my yard, no Trump signs in my immediate neighborhood. There are some Trump signs to be found, but more often I'm seeing yards peppered with signs for other Republican candidates, minus a Trump sign. Although there are strongholds of Trump voters, I maintain confidence that the majority of my fellow citizens in this state have the common sense to see Trump for what he is. If they vote, no way he takes this state.
