N.H. poll shows Trump, Clinton tied; Ayotte slightly ahead

Source: Boston Globe

With just five days before the presidential election, a new Suffolk University/Boston Globe poll in the swing state of New Hampshire suggests Clinton no longer has a lock on the Granite State and is tied with Donald Trump, who has the momentum in the closing days of the contest.

The poll, conducted Monday through Wednesday, finds Clinton and Trump tied at 42 percent each. It also shows incumbent Republican US Senator Kelly Ayotte leading her Democratic opponent, Governor Maggie Hassan, by 2 points.

“Clinton has clearly had a rough patch, but what we simply don’t know about this swing for Trump is if we are halfway through it or if it is peaking and about to come back the other way for Clinton with a critical weekend ahead of us,” said David Paleologos of the director of the Suffolk poll.

Note: I am typing the word "poll" into google (set on the NEWS category) and posting new polls that have not yet been posted to Late Breaking News.

Nothing is being "cherry picked", so if any poll results are unsettling please don't shoot the messenger. Yesterday I was the victim of a semi-witchhunt for doing this.

Why do this? First, because it IS late breaking news. Second, to fight any complacency if polls actually ARE tightening. Third, as a protest against those that would try to censor or intimidate people into not posting topics that they just don't like. This IS Democratic Underground, posting from reputable sources should not be censored. Thank you.

I posted this poll from the NEWS results of googling the word "poll" at 4:20PM today. This, along with the Utah poll I also posted, were the only unposted polls listed there at that time.

Nothing was cherry picked, see for yourself, sorry for the crude cut and paste:

Some people that don't like the poll results will ignore this and claim I am cherry picking bad polls. Shrug. Not much I can do about that but state the facts and show the google results. Anyone can check on this by googling "poll" and looking at the NEWS results.

Thank you.

…so there is really no need for you to type "poll" into Google and start yet another thread on it -- except, of course, that it's a poll with bad results for us, like all the others you rush to post. But no "cherry-picking" going on…of course not!

By the way, you can spare me the usual wall'o'boilerplate you generally post in response to everyone criticizing you. We've read it all before, over and over. Repeating it doesn't make it any more convincing.

I asked a forum moderator to check and they were kind enough to do so --- this is not a duplicate thread.

You were mistaken when you claimed it was.

That means you were very wrong when you posted:

"…so there is really no need for you to type "poll" into Google and start yet another thread on it -- except, of course, that it's a poll with bad results for us, like all the others you rush to post. But no "cherry-picking" going on…of course not! "

So, there was no repeating of a "cherry picked" poll.

I even provided the google NEWS results for you or anyone to check to confirm that nothing is "cherry picked".
You seem to have ignored that and made unfounded accusations about me, joining several other posters here that have done that also.

ANYONE can google the word "poll" and see the NEWS results for themselves, I am just posting any previously unposted polls to LBN.

Some people, like you, seem upset with some of these polls that the messenger, me, has become the whipping boy.

Honestly, it would be nice if unfounded accusations that impugn my motives would stop. People can check what I am doing any time, and believe me I am sure MANY people have, and point out if I am not being truthful.
