Rudy Giuliani Confirms The FBI Leaked Information To The Trump Campaign

Source: Huffington Post

Rudy Giuliani said Friday that he knew the FBI planned to review more emails tied to Hillary Clinton before a public announcement about the investigation last week, confirming that the agency leaked information to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

The former New York City mayor and Trump surrogate has recently dropped a series of hints that he knew in advance that the FBI planned to look at emails potentially connected to Clinton’s private server. The agency discovered the messages while investigating former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) for allegedly sexting with a minor. (Weiner’s estranged wife, Huma Abedin, is a top aide to Clinton.)

Giuliani has bragged about his close ties to the FBI for months, mentioning in interviews that “outraged FBI agents” have told him they’re frustrated by how the Clinton investigation was handled. And two days before FBI Director James Comey announced that the agency was reviewing the newly uncovered emails, Giuliani teased that Trump’s campaign had “a couple of surprises left.”

“You’ll see, and I think it will be enormously effective,” he said in an interview with Fox News.

FBI assessing information of possible al-Qaida terror attack in U.S. Monday

http://www.wcnc.com/news/fbi-assessing-information-of-possible-al-qaida-terror-attack-in-us-monday/348121474

NEW YORK (AP) - The FBI and New York Police Department say they are assessing the credibility of information they received of a possible al-Qaida terror attack against the U.S. on the eve of Election Day.

Officials say Friday that counter-terrorism investigators are reviewing the information that mentioned New York, Texas and Virginia as potential targets.

It wasn't immediately clear how the intelligence came to investigators' attention. An NYPD spokesman says in a statement the information "lacks specificity."

In a statement, the FBI said it was working closely with law enforcement agencies and sharing intelligence reports.

All reports lead to the New York office as a snake pit of Hillary Haters. It's been called "Trumpland." Agents there have been linked the Rudy Ghouliani as a contact person with the Trump campaign. The New Your office has almost singlehandedly and irrepreably altered the Presidential election of 2016.

Read This:
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/11/03/meet-donald-trump-s-top-fbi-fanboy.html?via=desktop&source=twitter

And This:
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/04/nyregion/as-trump-ally-rudy-giuliani-hints-at-ties-to-the-fbi.html?_r=0

And this:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/rudy-giuliani-fbi-clinton-emails_us_581c9e3fe4b0e80b02c93d6b

Since most of this activity is through the New York Office, I conclude it's too difficult to separate the "good guys" from the "bad guys." So a fresh start is the best way to stop an out of control Agency from illegally interefearing with our most sacred right. The right to vote. Without that - we are no better than any third rate Bananna Republic.

Mass punishment because it's easier than an actual investigation is lazy and would cause even more problems.

Just terminate the whole lot of 'em, who cares? Let's not waste time and effort determining whether or not these people actually did anything wrong. It's only someone's career and livelihood, after all, and if they had the misfortune to work alongside people who did do something wrong, well... they deserved it, too!

The notion of mass punishment is nauseating to me, and to see it so enthusiastically promoted on a progressive forum was sickening. Thanks for calling it out, and welcome to DU!

I care about innocent people being tarred with the same brush and suffering the same consequences as the guilty, merely because they work in the same office with the guilty.

How would you feel if you lost your job because some of your colleagues, or even most of them, were doing something they shouldn't be doing? Or is it okay as long as it doesn't affect you or someone you happen to like? These guys might be Republicans, so who cares if they lose their jobs and livelihoods?

In your words, fuck that. Collective punishment with no concern whatsoever for who is guilty and who is not is repugnant.

So membership in the Republican Party (or even suspected membership), as far as you're concerned at any rate, should disqualify a person from being treated fairly and having the presumption of innocence until guilt is proven? Well, that's obvious, I suppose, since you want them rounded up and "removed" from this country.

Do you have any idea how absolutely deranged and unhinged you sound right now? The lunacy you're coming out with is the sort of thing I much more frequently hear from the most frothing-at-the-mouth of the rabid conservative zealots.

Guiliani's big mouth lets the cat out of the bag, allegedly forcing Comey to write this vague letter. Perhaps the NY agents leaked the info To Rudy. He in turn makes very vague INNUENDO/reference. RUDY'S comments were not enough to justify Comey writing that letter! And had Guiliani leaked more in the coming days, Comey could have simply not responded. But by issuing his vague letter, it TOTALLY lent credence to Rudy. What a neat SET, MATCH....SCORE!

It may have worked off better if Comey hadn't sent his letter to Republicans WELL IN ADVANCE on Friday! The fly in their soup!

Did Rudy Giuliani Abet the Violation of Public Integrity Rules by FBI Agents?
By Ben Mathis-Lilley

Top Trump ally and former federal prosecutor Rudy Giuliani has boasted more than once about being in touch with FBI agents who are hot after Hillary. One example, from Oct. 28, via the Daily Beast:

“The other rumor that I get is that there’s a kind of revolution going on inside the FBI about the original conclusion [not to charge Clinton] being completely unjustified and almost a slap in the face to the FBI’s integrity,” said Giuliani. “I know that from former agents. I know that even from a few active agents.”

The FBI's "Ethics and Integrity Program" guide, meanwhile, stipulates to its employees that they may not use "any influence arising from [their] Federal position ... in concert with any campaign." More broadly, it says, "FBI employees must never use their FBI title or position in any way to advance any particular partisan activity."

Does leaking unflattering information about Hillary Clinton to one of Donald Trump's top advisers count as working in concert with a campaign and/or advancing a partisan activity? It would seem that Rudy Giuliani understands that that might be the case, because when he went on Fox on Friday he denied that he's in touch with current agents. "I'm real careful not to talk to any on-duty, active FBI agents," he claimed, despite having attested at least twice in recent months to having done so.

1). There's pretty much one source "off-duty, non-active" FBI agents are going to get info on what's going on inside the FBI, and that's on-duty, active FBI agents.

2). I don't believe him for a second, because yeah...he's been bragging about this, about how well-connected he is, and in some inconceivable way, he thought there wouldn't be any blowback from this. Maybe because Trump has skated right past all of his own baggage. I don't know. But Rudy? Rudy blew it.
