MEXICO CITY, Nov 4 (Reuters) — Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim said on Friday that Donald Trump's plans would "destroy" the United States economy and joked that the Republican presidential candidate's proposed wall at the border would be undermined by smuggling tunnels.

Slim made his first public comments since Trump accused him of trying to help the candidate's Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, in the U.S. election at an event in Mexico City.

Slim said that he thought it was unlikely Trump would win the election on Tuesday, and dismissed the New York businessman's economic proposals.

"If they slap on a 35 percent (tariff) it would destroy the American economy," he said at an event in Mexico City, referring to Trump's threat to put a 35 percent tax on many goods manufactured in Mexico and shipped to the United States.

had to wait in lines for food but the higher ups didnt.
Heck even some in our own government are way out of touch like the Republicans in the House are totally unconcerned over the struggle that most Americans are facing and rather than address that problem and try to fix it they would rather try over 60+ times to repeal Obamacare because it is a popular program that was introduced by a black president and they are offended that their party lost to him.

The state through influence and using issues as distractions for their Pillaging

Citizens united and constant tax cuts for the richest that require the state to borrow to pay! has led us there.

THose at the top are probably not even racists, they're just using them just like they're using the abortion issue despite the fact they don't really give a shit about that either

They give their patsies a bone like racist or misoginist policies that will keep them happy in their mug superiority over minorities and women while they get ever poorer

It's the story of the last 40 years and it's just continuing. The end point is a Putin like pseudo democracy and the US is getting pretty close to thst

but import taxes are only one aspect of Frump's potential economy wrecking ball. Not only would his tax cut plan put us into serious deficits, all 17 wars he would stir would completely bankrupt us, his Make America Great Depression Again: including his total disregard for vast segments of... well... anyone who isn't Frump or presently boinking Frump... Oh, god I'm going to go vomit. Then maybe I'll finish this train of thought.
Or not. It just makes me facepalm how ANYONE could think this dipshit would make a "great"... anything at all.
