BBC correspondent: Ex-British intelligence officer not the only source for Russia's Trump dossier

The existence of a compromising Russian dossier on President-elect Donald Trump has been confirmed by multiple sources, BBC Washington Correspondent Paul Wood revealed on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, BuzzFeed [link:https://www.buzzfeed.com/kenbensinger/these-reports-allege-trump-has-deep-ties-to-russia?utm_term.uoo43Xv7R#.vaWm8oWAzpublished memos] prepared by a former British intelligence officer which detail explosive information that Russians could use to compromise Trump. According to [link:http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/10/politics/donald-trump-intelligence-report-russia/CNN], U.S. intelligence officials briefed both Trump and President Barack Obama on the dossier in recent months. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) also personally delivered a copy of the memos to FBI Director James Comey, reports said.

During a [link:http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b087pf3kBBC 4 radio broadcast] on Wednesday, Wood revealed that the former British spy was not the only source claiming to have knowledge that Russia is possession of sex tapes that could embarrass the president-elect.

The rumors or the allegations or whatever you want to call them have been circulating for a number of months now, Wood explained. I saw the report, compiled by the former British intelligence officer, back in October. He is not, and this is the crucial thing, the only source for this.

without any light in his office sucking his thumb knowing he threw the election and broke so many laws.

He says he doesn't comment on on going investigation. What a crock of shit.

awareness of the consequences of his actions, including the destruction of his reputation for integrity, and is cynically engaged in salvaging and rebuilding as much as he can.

My big question is, WHO did he conspire with among internal enemies determined to corrupt the elective process? He's very intelligent and extremely powerful and well connected, and somehow I doubt this former losing Whitewater committee attacker just woke up one morning and thought, "Hmmm, I think I'll betray my nation by throwing the election today. Just because I can, and because taking down that Hillary *itch is way overdue."

I also suspect a very good case can be made for classic treason. Proving intent would not be needed, simply the reality of giving aid to Russia by withholding proper notice to the DNC of Russia's hacking, and, of course, by furthering Russia's goals by throwing the election.

saying it's unverified. Made all kinds of excuses. "I don't care about their sex lives as long as they run the country right." They are too stupid to understand that it wasn't about his sex habits, it was about the blackmail.
