Senate committee clears Carson nomination
Source: The Hill
The Senate cleared the way on Tuesday for Ben Carson to take the helm of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The Senate Banking Committee approved Carsons nomination, sending it to the floor for final confirmation.

Senators only questioned Carson, who has never worked in government, for two and a half hours during his confirmation hearing earlier this month.

I flown on a commercial airplane, taken a passenger train, utilized urban public transport, and driven a car.
Does that make me qualified to be the Transportation secretary?
