"Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) joined the chorus of Republicans backing Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) for cutting off Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) during a speech criticizing Attorney General Jeff Sessions this week.
The bottom line is it was long overdue with her, I mean she is clearly running for the nomination in 2020, he told radio host Mike Gallagher on Wednesday in a clip obtained by CNNs KFile."

"Graham broadened his assault on Warren out to what he views as a fractious Democratic Party.
It is really being pushed by the most extreme forces in their community and they just dont know how to handle it, he said. If they empower her, I think the Democratic Party is going to lose its way.

(721 posts)Apparently his opposition is to Trump alone, with pals like McConnell he is thick as thieves.
Lindsay Graham is a fraud and his "never Trump" posturing is a facade and a sham.

(11,517 posts)I feel like Graham and Turtle have just done that. Their attacks on Senator Warren are going to galvanize the Progressive wing of the Democratic Party as well as solidify support from the moderates within our party.

It wasn't in a formal statement from the podium, but the relentless kerfuffle from the Repuke hypocrites brought this to mind.

(12 posts)Warren talks issues -- like Bernie, she sometimes gets mad but mostly stays focused on issues. That terrifies Republicans because when you poll most Americans they want progressive solutions so the GOP has to distract with name calling. When the debate gets down in the dirt GOPers excel and Dems get their butts' kicked. Dems just aren't built to behave like scumbags. Biden has found a pretty good balance but it just isn't a good look on serious people who actually care about policy.
