This is actually a favorable poll for Trump. He is only trailing Obama by 8 points but if Obama had
been allowed to run for re-election he probably would have beaten Trump by 20 points.
In other words, Trump IS getting a post-inauguration honeymoon of sorts from the voters, just like every other new president. But Trump is doing such a bad job that this is the best he can do, even with an electorate that is willing to give him a chance.
