He has proven himself to be clueless, uninterested and untrustworthy! The first president who is not here to serve the American people - unless there is some benefit to him personally. I wouldn't trust him with my lunch order.

He's been dissing the intelligence community for the entire time he's been either running for president, or holding that office. His supporters will take this as evidence that the intelligence community's leaders cannot be trusted, and when he replaces them with his lackeys, they will shout hallelujah.

Frankly, I fear that the so-called intelligence community leaders are and have been the real rulers of this country, no matter who has been president. Something that shakes that up may not be entirely bad.

Of the f***ing IDIOTS who voted for 45.

The fact that this unqualified asshole won is pretty much de-facto proof that this 'electoral college' system we have in the US has utterly outgrown it's usefulness.

Thankfully, despite the rampant voter suppression, the population can still be trusted to come up with the correct result, but the system as a whole appears to be no longer viable.

For my part, I'm fairly glad there's still 'career' professionals in some semblance of a position to offset the FUCKING STUPIDITY ... of the Drumpf voters.

Way it looks now, we'd be a world of shit without these professionals, and I'm not sure we want to see Drumpf 'shake it up' too much.

Of course, back when they 86'd Kennedy, did the whole MKUltra stuff ... things looked a bit different ... but at this particular moment ... I have to admit, I may be starting to 'see the wisdom'. These entrenched, secretive bureaus, having the power that they do ... might just be our saving grace ... ironically enough ...

and know what the mission is. It is ingrained in them upon on-boarding and reinforced for however many decades they remain there.

IMHO, much of this "withholding" is probably not so much due to Drumpf (because he doesn't care about "details" anyway) but to keep it out of the hands of truly dangerous people like Bannon, who do NOT belong on the NSC. Even the likes of Bolton kept Karl Rove off the NSC and Bannon is essentially a Rove on LSD.

Presidents and Congresses do not run this country, the heads of the intelligence agencies do. They could selectively withhold information and supply enough false information to get this country to go to war with any nation on the planet, no matter how little of a threat that country would be to us. The Iraq war is a perfect example of this, what with all the weapons of mass destruction crap that the CIA, etc. manufactured to persuade even Kerry and Hillary to go along with their plan.

They tell the elected leaders of this country whatever they want them to hear.
