George Zimmerman relaunched his personal website on the same day that he gave his first media interview about his shooting of Trayvon Martin.
On the site, therealgeorgezimmerman.com, the second-degree murder defendant wrote a letter to his supporters and asked them to donate to his defense fund, which he said is nearly depleted.
This has been the most difficult time of my life. I have been charged and arrested for murder, I have been accused of being a racist, and my family and I have to live in hiding because of threats against my life. I am not a murderer, and I am not a racist, Zimmerman wrote.

This is not my website, this is our website, he told supporters. I am going to use this as a chance to communicate with you and listen to you, and as an opportunity to share important things about the case.

(34,135 posts)They will have to find another jury as ignorant and stupid as the Casey Anthony jury to try this case.
Zimmerman knows he poisoned his chances of getting cleared in a Stand Your Ground hearing unless he can get another judge - and I am doubtful if that will happen since the judge was outraged by Zimmerman's actions, not biased by outside influences. So now his lawyer is trying to poison the jury pool nationwide.

(115,677 posts)I have a few things to say to you Zimmy. Quit your begging. Quit begging for money. Quit begging for a hotel room from ABC. Quit begging for interview. It isn't all about you.
And yes, you are a murderer. You haven't been convicted in a court of law but here in the real world? Yes. You are a murderer.

(4,243 posts)to see if there was a comments section. Sure enough, there wasn't. I guess like all good teabaggers he doesn't accept negative feedback.

The webpage at www.GZDefenseFund.com is the only page on the Internet for making donations the George Zimmerman Legal Defense Fund, but some people who search for terms associated with the defense fund have a hard time finding it. This is because one of the most important determining factors for search engine rankings is how many relevant websites link back to a page. Unfortunately, news articles that talk about the defense fund can get more link-backs than the defense fund website itself, and therefore, those other websites outrank it.
You can help by providing a link to the GZDefenseFund.com website from your website or blog. Write a short description describing why you support George Zimmerman and make a link to www.gzdefensefund.com. For the link, use words like Donate to the Zimmerman Legal Defense Fund, or How to Donate to George Zimmerman.
So it looks like the more we talk about his defense fund, the less likely someone is to find it by using a search engine..... hmmmmm.

Think maybe people dying due to lack of health insurance can start a website fund? Nah, I guess murdering someone gets more attention.
What a world.

(57,936 posts)He has not yet faced what he really, really did. He takes no responsibility for his conduct. If he really believed that he had a strong case for self-defense, I don't think he would act like this.
