GOPs New Plan to Repeal Obamacare: Dare Fellow Republicans to Block Effort

Source: WSJ

WASHINGTON—Republican leaders are betting that the only way for Congress to repeal the Affordable Care Act is to set a bill in motion and gamble that fellow GOP lawmakers won’t dare to block it.

Party leaders are poised to act on the strategy as early as this week, after it has become obvious they can’t craft a proposal that will carry an easy majority in either chamber. Lawmakers return to Washington Monday after a week of raucous town halls in their districts that amplified pressure on Republicans to forge ahead with their health-care plans.

Republican leaders pursuing the “now or never” approach see it as their best chance to break through irreconcilable demands by Republican centrists and conservatives over issues ranging from tax credits to the future of Medicaid. The new strategy means the health-care law could be overhauled in three precarious steps—reflecting the difficulties of concurrently repealing and replacing the law, as President Donald Trump had sought.

Republicans can afford to lose no more than two GOP votes in the Senate and 22 in the House, assuming they get no support from Democrats. That means any GOP faction could torpedo the repeal effort by withholding its support—and members of each have threatened as much.

these jerks and I am putting it mildly, think that its just great that we the tax payers give them a f***ing pay check to get health care coverage, they have a f***ing choice of over 74 plans, if I am correct.

While "we" the people have on average only 6 plans top's choose from.

And if you live in a state lets say Louisville, Kentucky, where that turtle fascists comes from, or even for that matter Wisconsin where that House fascists leader lives in Janesville, and takes his f***ing breaks and gets over $223,000 a year , both of them being dickheads ( they practice on being one everyday) and working only 110 days last year being hypocrites and being bribed, just to f*** people over, how do they sleep at night-------------they don't care.

McConnell had polio, so, if he had not recovered from that deadly disease, do you think he might be on Medicaid, if he wasn't some U.S. Senator scamming people and basically telling them FU when it comes to health insurance, that everyone pays to the "our" government to keep health costs down.

Nope these two zealots of the Ayn Rand, Koch' s and other dark money along with their band of merry men and woman making $174,000 and $223,000 a year want to f*** you and me for being not worthy to have health care. They want to make America great Again---------------------right.

So the "next" time that these right wing fascists come to a town near you, if they show up, give them another earful, and let it be known that over 65 million people that voted against this s*** that we are coming, and we are taking names and we are going to vote these self righteous pompous jerks out

I have no mercy when it comes to hypocrisy and self righteous arrogance from these hypocrites, that think that I and you and everyone else is not worthy, to have a basic right to enjoy having good health>

Which would make me and you and everyone else happy and to be able to enjoy my / our lives. Because when you are under attack for being and asking for something this simple you live longer the other developed economy's prove this point every year, and we are ranks near number 37, and when threatened for basic health, the stress will eventually kill you

http://thepatientfactor.com/canadian-health-care-information/world-health-organizations-ranking-of-the-worlds-health-systems/

After I made corporations rich and powerful, and paying someone to make sure that some insurance company and some Ayn Rand acolytes, think that it should be a dog eat dog world, while they sit on the side lines blaming me, you and everyone else for the crap they create----------------not happening

So I hope you don't mind if I give you a

as well as other dark-money backers packed the Republican caucuses with. Ryan is certainly a believer. McConnell is not, but he's a total sellout to power.

Now, the true believers are really anxious to damn the torpedoes and grab their holy grail while within reach.

Even if republicans refused to hold town hall meetings during the recent break - they are painfully aware of the huge ACA pushback they are getting back home. So if the House and Senate leaders want to pressure them - they will be putting a number of rank and file republicans in jeopardy of losing their jobs at the next election. I guess we'll have to see how strong their survival instinct is. I'm betting their paycheck and kickbacks are more important than the party whips threats.

with their lives that their fellow GOPers are as vile and inhuman as they are. Even with packed townhalls full of scared and angry people, even with Trump the guy they know is incompetent to do his job.

These are the most vile people in America, they are at the heart of the attack on American citizens.

Make no mistake, GOP leaders are willing to let millions of American die. They are all onboard with the idea. I guess their voters are too...but it seems not to be the case.
