But I would not have the same level of dread with Obama...

I fear that we are only weeks away from the first use of nuclear weapons since 1945...and this time it will be 1,000 times more horrific...

Trump is wig deep in shit over his entire campaign, his signature moves - like repeal of Obamacare or the idiotic Muslim ban - have been disasters, and he has already shown zero statesmanship or ability to surround himself with people smarter than a tomato can.

This ends in a very, very ugly place...

these craft can fly from thousands of miles away and are capable of firing cruise missiles that can likewise reach
a far distant target, so stationing them within short conventional missile/artillery range seems both foolish and like I suggested
quite provocative, instead of Spy vs Spy (which we have in the WH) there is Madman vs Madman or who has the
biggest d**k. Crazy! Millions of lives at stake.

But they have been used to carry conventional weapons in every conflict that we have been in under Clinton, Bush and Obama. So does the Sun have info that they are deploying nuclear weapons to S. Korea or are they just stirring a pot of shit?

unlikely that they are armed with nuclear bombs. As you have pointed out since George H Bush, they have been used to carry conventional weapons.

I find it very difficult to believe that they would have these bombers loaded with nuclear weapons, and that this is being reported by the tabloid rag the sun, makes me even more skeptical

The proximity of all those countries toward each other would make any use of nuclear weapons a disaster for the whole area

He's got this fascination with nuclear weapons and has this perverse love/hate relationship with N.K.'s leader. Plus, Putin probably wants N.K. eliminated as a threat.

He ought to base the bombers in Okinawa, though. Safer location, especially if you plan to carry nukes.

Why are only The Sun (UK) and the Daily Mail (UK) covering this?
Why isn't The Guardian (UK) reporting it?
Where is the NYT, WaPo, HuffPo, CNN, AP, MSNBC, etc.?

(Not that it would surprise me if it were true, since Trump would LOVE to start an all-out war with North Korea, if only because it would take the heat off the Russian/Trump campaign election interference story)

They have the working nukes and missiles that could be fired from a cargo ship to get them high enough. And they have one of the leaders even crazier than ours.

Just one over the east coast could take all all communications and power grids from DC to NYC and more, and crash our financial markets and general chaos damage. All without directly blowing up anything or any one.

Just a two or three could take out most of the country east and west coasts.

Or with less range put one on one of the old 727's and just fly it into and area just like all other cargo jets.

Iran & Pakistan could pull this off too if we get too bigly for our own britches. Yes we could decimate any one who tried, if we can prove who did it.

We are not immune from attacks, even though we act like it most of the time.

are they not still flying B52s out of Kadena, Okinawa? Or some base in Thailand. I know that when I was in the Navy, they flew B52s out of both places.

Trump should be a little careful threatening another leader who is at least as crazy as he is. But then again, when has Trump every told the truth or followed through on anything he said.
