GOP Obamacare Repeal Bill Clears Final Hurdle Before Heading To House Floor

Source: Talking Points Memo

By CAITLIN MACNEAL Published MARCH 24, 2017, 9:31 AM EDT

The House Rules Committee on Friday morning cleared the Republican bill to repeal and replace Obamacare, sending the legislation to the House floor for debate and a final vote.

The committee established that the House will have four hours to debate the American Health Care Act on the floor before taking a final vote. The committee agreed to a closed rule, which will prevent the House from considering any additional amendments to the legislation on the floor.

The rule passed by the committee also incorporated the latest changes to the bill, the manager's amendments, into the legislation so that the House will vote on just one package, rather than on the original bill and separate amendments.

The Rules Committee's final clearance tees up a Friday afternoon vote for the full House, but it is still unclear whether GOP leadership has whipped enough votes in its caucus to ensure the bill's passage.

1). "For the next four years we will roll over on our backs, purr, and expose our soft white underbelly to you."

OR

2). Fuck YOU, this isn't Trump Tower, this is Washington, and learn how to play the game."

My money is on "underbelly." I'm guessing this will get sent on to the Senate, because Ryan has had 24 hours to kiss ass, and Trump has had 24 hours to bully, threaten, and intimidate.

Live stream of the debate.

The Democrats are laying out every fact and figure and it is beyond my understanding how the Republicans will be able to smirk their way through this and vote "yes."

that comes from what they call themselves the "republican party"

If anyone thinks that this fascist, racist, bigoted, paranoid, deceitful. disingenuous, narcissistic, megalomaniac, authoritarian, right wing, self centered, oligarchy, bribing, payoff, blood suckers are and they just "don't give a shit party" , deplorable's, are in some ways compassionate------------there ARE NOT ENOUGH ADJECTIVES TO EXPRESS MY VIEW of absolute disgust, and why I am proud to be a democrat.

They are just FUCKED UP as they are.

AND the one thing that they all have in common, is that they support a SEXUAL PREDATOR being inside the white houses that committed TREASON, and has broken the law and that there party is "doing" nothing to stop this SHIT, they do not care about country, there Oath they took to be in office, and it's all about greed, plain and simple

...there will be millions of delusional and politically unaware Americans who are going to find out what it's like to not have medical coverage.

Meanwhile, $2.8 billion gets redistributed to the 400 wealthiest families in America.

those people don't give a rats ass, and what is striking is that he supports that we the people pay a penalty to some f***ing insurance company

Just watch what this jerk said to Joy Reid on 3/19/2017, this what it's all about and this "congressman" was a pharmacist, and then he uses the same Ronald Reagan talking point about able bodied BS
