O'Reilly mocks Dem Maxine Waters for wearing 'James Brown wig'
Source: The Hill
Fox News host Bill O'Reilly said Tuesday he "didn't hear a word" Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calf.) said during recent comments on the House floor because he was focused on "the James Brown wig."
"I love her. Maxine Waters should have her own sitcom," "The O'Reilly Factor" host joked on "Fox & Friends" when asked about the longtime congresswoman questioning the patriotism of President Trump's supporters in a speech on Monday

"I didn't hear a word [Waters] said. I was looking at the James Brown wig. If we have a picture of James, it's the same wig."

"And he's not using it anymore," co-host Brian Kilmeade joked. "They just, they finally buried him."

Still, Ms. Waters is 78 years old. It's a fact of life that our culture isn't quite as kind to a woman with thinning hair as it is to a man like Bill-O. Seeing as he is about 11 years younger than she is (really - I looked it up), perhaps he could come back when he reaches that age to show off his shiny dome or whatever rug he wears to cover it up.
Typical mean spirited rethug punching down. Just another day for that blowhard.

(164,164 posts)After being insulted by Bill OReilly, Maxine Waters has a message for women everywhere

Rep. Maxine Waters, who Fox News' Bill O'Reilly taunted on Tuesday with a blatantly racist and sexist joke about how her hair resembled a "James Brown wig," had a message for the TV host on Tuesday: "I am a strong black woman, and I cannot be intimidated."
On MSNBC's All in With Chris Hayes, Waters responded to the comment by telling the host, "I cannot be thought to be afraid of Bill O'Reilly or anybody." And I'd like to say to women out there everywhere, don't allow these right-wing talking heads, these dishonorable people, to intimidate you or scare you."
"... Bill O'Reilly and Roger Ailes have no credibility," Waters added, bringing up the two men's history of being sued by former colleagues for sexual harassment. "They have been sued by women, they have had to pay millions of dollars out in fines for harassment ... we know about that checkered past, and we also know that when a woman stands up and speaks truth to power that there will be attempts to put her down."
"I am not going to be put down, I am not going to go anywhere, I am going to stay on the issues," the congresswoman concluded.
