Texas lawmakers weigh bill mocking abortion laws by fining masturbation

Source: CBS News

A Texas bill establishing a $100 fine for male masturbation is one step closer to getting off the ground.

House Bill 4620, dubbed the “Men’s Right to Know Act,” will be taken up by the State Affairs Committee in the Texas House of Representatives, the Houston Chronicle reports.

<snip>

Masturbation would be “considered an act against an unborn child” that “fail[s] to preserve the sanctity of life.” Semen would be stored in medical facilities and saved “for the purposes of conception for a current or future wife.”

Another provision in the bill would create an informational packet called “A Man’s Right to Know,” similar to a current proposal requiring doctors provide women seeking abortions with a pamphlet called “A Woman’s Right To Know.” The male version of the booklet would include information “related to the benefits and concerns of a man seeking a vasectomy, Viagra prescription, or a colonoscopy” and must “include artistic illustrations of each procedure.”

Later in the article it says that Democratic state Rep. Jessica Farrar introduced the bill to mock restrictions on women’s access to abortion and other health procedures. Also, the proposed bill would require men to have a rectal exam before getting a prescription for Viagra or getting a vasectomy.

Where you're forced to have an ultraviolet lite shown on your hands and the fly of your pants. "Awright, Jerk-off! Outta the car an' drop 'em!"

of your own pocket. Yes, you can get viagra prescribed but your insurance will not cover it at all. You still have to follow the rules even if it costs you. Welcome to your wanted rules for women.

had to have their husbands sign medical procedures that had to do with the reproductive system. they need to get the wife's signature to get the procedure done. Yeah, I know it is not like that anymore but with trump in and how he wants to make America great again and the way he is going it may soon apply again,

They're gonna legislate our privates? Then let's rescue them from charges of sexism! They should face the same legislative restrictions and intrusions and arbitrary mandates as women do! If birth control isn't covered by our insurance, then neither should Viagra/Cialis/Etc be covered.

Definitely the colonoscopy. Cystoscopy might have to be undertaken, by law, as well.

I'm not sure I get the context with that one. Both women and men need those and I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from having one.

Other than that, I love this idea!

No pro-lifer thinks a sperm is life that needs to be protected. Pro-lifers generally believe life begins at conception, so while pro-choicers will say this will sure show those pro-lifers what hypocrites they are, pro-lifers will shrug and not see anything other than how crude and misinformed pro-choicers are.

The two sides are so far apart.

Once you arbitrarily assign hocus pocus attributes to small bits of human cells, you might as well go all the way with it. We should probably have funeral ceremonies for our nail clippings as well.

But feel good about this or the idea of it. Why? Because I am sick and tired of old white men telling women what they can and can't do with their own bodies. They hate the sexual freedom and empowerment of women and are grasping desperately at anything that repressed women. This is a nice fuck you to that bullshit. Always blaming the woman and trying to take her power away. Sick fucks. But nothing is ever said or done about the man. No he is just a big stud who can spread his seed everywhere. The hypocrisy makes me sick. Ok rant over.
