'We Will Stamp Out Prejudice': Trump Blasts Anti-Jewish Threats During Memorial Ceremony

Source: Mediaite

by Ken Meyer | 12:49 pm, April 25th, 2017

President Donald Trump spoke at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Days of Remembrance Ceremony today, and used his remarks to slam those perpetuating anti-Semitism and threats against the Jewish people.

The Trump Administration has repeatedly faced blowback due to several instances where critics ripped on the White House for not being particularly knowledgable or sympathetic about Jewish issues. In today’s remarks, Trump reiterated his pledge to support Israel, and recalled the horrors and suffering Jews experienced in the Holocaust.

Eventually, Trump turned his ire towards Holocaust-deniers, saying they were “filled with total hate.” Trump also used his address to talk about those who have threatened Israel with destruction.

“Those who deny the Holocaust are an accomplice to this horrible evil, and we’ll never be silent,” Trump said. “We will confront anti-Semitism. We will stamp out prejudice, we will condemn hatred, we will bear witness, and we will act.”

the secret jewish government or some such bullshit but the fact is no one forces him to say anything though in this case he is simply probably saying it because he hates looking bad to the public and he also gets free PR which we all know he craves like a horse loves sweets.

Follow the narcissism- he'll go on Alex Jones and become racist again. Then he'll deny he said what he said and blame the media for fake news. Rinse repeat.

The man doesn't believe a damn word he's said in the last few days, because they weren't his words! Someone else wrote them and he was rehearsed!

He was speaking in his usual monotone fashion, something he does when he's not happy with being made to say something, that wasn't his idea and did not include the words great, marvelous and fantastic at least 6 times each!!!

This could have been advised by Idonka and written by her or Kushner, plagiarized from prior Holocaust memorial speeches.

He's already deflected claims during his campaign that he could possibly be promoting anti-Semitism since his daughter and son-in-law and their kids are Jewish.

Trump doesn't do anything unless it props up his ego or he capitalizes on it financially. So, no, he won't be doing anything about antisemitism.

Besides, his base is made up of white-supremacists. They would like a repeat of '30s, '40s Germany in the U.S.

for the upsurge in bigotry, sexism and racism. HITF is this boy posing as potus able to spew this horseshit? Oh I forgot he got his playbook from ivanka, jared and stupid ass bannon who's still there and I have no doubts, still influencing the direction of the boy-potus and his administration. The obvious hypocrisy is disgusting. I don't believe a word of this.

This is confronting it... " Oh this is anti-Semetism right here, I'm calling it out.
"Well what about stamping it out?
" Hey I called it out, leave me alone"

Stamping out means you have to make laws to stamp it out and he is not going to upset his white supremacist base

You can start by holding those in your own party saying these things accountable. You, sir, have no problem saying whatever the heck you want. So start by naming names. Start by calling them horrible, frauds, and other euphemisms that you tend to use. Until then this is just lip service.

Remember when a President making an anti-Semitism statement barely made the news, because that's what Presidents did, as a routine matter? And yet there was Chuck Todd on MTP yesterday, whispering "Thank you for those words, Mr. President." You need any further evidence of just how far and fast things have gone into the toilet in this country? There's your evidence.
