Former NSA Director Michael Hayden appeared on CNNs New Day on Monday, where he said that Sally Yates attempts to warn the White House about Michael Flynn are not a good sign for President Trumps administration.
Hayden told Chris Cuomo that if Yates insisted on speaking with the White House counsel so early on in the administrations life, its a significant sign that something was amiss. Haydens commentary comes as Yates prepares to testify before the Senate about what she told the White House about Flynns Russian connections before she was fired by the administration.
If the Acting Attorney General insists on seeing the White House counsel, that is a tectonic thing in its own right, Hayden said. It suggests one: the chaos in the Trump White House, second is the inordinate distrust of the officials from the government they were replacing, and third is going to feed that darker narrative out there with regard to the relationship with the Trump campaign and the Russian Federation.
In terms of what James Clapper is likely to say at todays hearing, Hayden said the former Director of National Intelligence would probably put forward new information about Russias attempts to interfere with the 2016 election. Cuomo noted how Clapper once said that he hasnt seen evidence of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign, though Hayden responded that the matter was not conclusive at the time, and it is still subject to multiple government investigations.

(16,104 posts)You can't warn this jackass that "My General" has a problem with Russians, when Trump has dismissed these associations from Day One.
Whether Trump is in league or a patsy, his temperamental unfitness to be in the White House is clear.

(26,291 posts)if I was going to wager money on it my wager would be would be on members of Congress specifically the ones that have kept stonewalling any independent investigation into it as being more likely to have been involved in collusion with Russia.

(23,099 posts)I think that Drumpf paid Russia to steal the election for him and that Ryan and McTurtle were in on it along with the R's who are now part of his cabinet or doing their best to shield Hair Furor. These include Chaffetz, Nunes and who knows how many other traitors.

(26,291 posts)anyway but due to the stonewalling for an investigation into the actions of Russia in the election its smelling more and more like certain Repugnant members of Congress were up to their necks and in bed with Russia in some way.

(32,639 posts)Trump has been taking money from Russia for a lot of years.
He's laundered money Russian mafia money in his casinos. He's sold them properties for ridiculously high profits (and they knew they were being taken) and he's also taken huge loans from them.
After 4 bankruptcies he couldn't get a loan from any American banks, so the Russians (Vladimir Putin) own him lock, stock and barrel.
This stuff is not secret, but the media wouldn't talk about it during his presidential campaign.
